One of my favourite pieces of instrumental guitar. I have loved it since I was 17 and watched the Deerhunter and I am now in my 51st year. My mum sadly passed away a week today and I am seeking some comfort through music so please accept my gratitude for sharing your talent . .... and your video has inspired me to aim to visit this wonderful country in my lifetime as life is precious
@sonniemay Thanks for the comment, sonniemay! I'm glad my video and music brought you some comfort. Hopefully you'll get a chance to visit this part of the world someday, it is beautiful. Thanks again!
I really love the way how you match the pictures with your music. It really does a great job in creating a silent and peaceful mood, like a retreat on the Internet.
That was beautiful. I felt like I was flying around admiring the scenery of this wonderful playground the Lord has provided us to roam called earth. Beautifully done!
@Gangly1 Thanks, Gangly1! I think the bass notes were there, but were very dim. I recorded this at one of the only times I was able to grow my nails on my right hand, except for my thumb. :( I can never seem to get that one past a certain point before it breaks. I have long since given up on any hopes of growing my nails, and have come to terms with being a nail-less player. :) That being said, I'm not saying it's perfect and perhaps there are some notes missing. Thanks for the comment.
Guess those terms that you say don't apply to you are pretty relative after all!
This sounds perfect to me, clear arpeggios and accentuated melody (so pristine!). You're the man Chris, don't keep us waiting too much for that multi-instrumental cake you're cooking ;) Cheers mate.
I used to be able to play a majority of this piece though not as well as this. I seem to remember there being some very hard stretches and barres to this piece.
lovely! I will upload my piano version soon :-)...

Excellent version of a v v difficult solo piece.
Some bass notes missing, but who cares?
This is beautiful.
Well done... and fantastic images.
