I think he'll be fine, Lupul did pretty damned good last year, surpassed expectations for sure. and burkie doesn't go for injured players. This deal cost us nothing really, we got Franson which is the main deal, Lombardi is a throw in. If burkie had a doubt about his health, he wouldn't be wearing white and blue.
Still a great trade though, Lebderp and Slaney(I'm a pretty huge Leafs fan but I'm not too familiar about him), for Franson(great dman) and a guy who won't be on our cap hit.
@WWESupasta Lombardi's not done, he can still pass the puck like a beauty, he doesn't need to score all the time, all he's there for is to give the puck to a scorer. His concussion won't be like crosby's that little girl lol, he'll be fine.
@sutton123454 I wasn't dissing any of Lombardi's skills, I guess I wasn't so specific there, I love Lombardi and what he brings, but sadly it seems his concussion symptoms aren't going away and Nashville's GM wasn't optimistic about his return.
