ive been playing guitr for about a year now nd it is rely hard to begin with, but wen u learn to play a song nothing beats the feeling u get wen u can play it. also if u want lik to learn kl songs i reccomend tom morellos stuff cus its mainly simple riffs but with effects nd they sound wkd.

the first song i learnt was cochise by audioslave :)

This is soo awesome. I have an inquiry, I have literally no experience with guitar (i'm in advanced piano) how hard was this to learn? I'm planning on starting lessons soon and i'd love to learn this riff... or should i just give up? Please don't bash this comment, i seriously have no knowledge about guitar.

well, i'm a beginner ( 2 months of practice )

so i can't say much lol, but i actually almost got plug in baby down. and it's good to start lessons ( depending on who's your teacher thogh ), but overall lessons do help alot to understand guitar and other instruments. but basically if i can do it, i guess you can =)

but are you starting electric or acoustic? and what kind do you have? just want to know =)

should be too difficult to pick up after a month of so of aquainting yourself with the fretboard and btw, no matter how frustrating learning gets never give up because learning the guitar will be the best decision you ever mae!

Its a pretty easy riff. If ur just starting i recomend you learn some scales and speed building excersises. practice those everyday along with whatever song u are learning.

You should probably be able to learn this in less than 2 weeks if u practice alot
