  • I made this tonight and the peanut butter mixture wasn't even close to being as loose as you show it on the video. After adding the powdered sugar and peanut butter to the melted butter it basically formed a ball. I had to add some more butter to loosen it up a bit and could only add a few graham cracker crumbs. To get it as loose as you did I would have needed to add another stick of butter. Why do you think that happened?

  • @BigB0882 It sounds like too much powdered sugar was added. It's 1.75 (1 cup+3/4 cup) powdered sugar. The graham crackers is 3/4 cup AFTER it's crushed into crumbs. Also, if you tried halving or doubling the recipe, some measurements may have been off.

  • @BigB0882 Yeah, good question. Besides, I distinctly recall that Reese's has chocolate ON THE BOTTOM, too. Looks like this candy-mogul-wannabee couldn't crack THAT part of the formula. So sad.

  • @mizschaefer06 Use 1/2 cup unsalted butter for the graham cracker mixture, and 1/4 cup unsalted butter for the chocolate chips.

  • @AsianMusicMan123 Yes, it is very possible. Only that you may have to make more chocolate mixture to cover both sides. So it not a cup, not a bar, but a sandwich? :)

  • @aglol123 Hmm...I don't think ice cream cones would be a very good substitute because of the different density. It would be best to stick to the original recipe. But hey, if the cones work, let me know ;)
