I never saw Bagpuss as a child. I first saw it at the age of 21 - an adult watching a children's show, with no nostalgia from my own childhood. I still thought it was awesome! Just goes to show that, well, Bagpuss is awesome!

After many years of trying to uncover the secret of bagpuss mouse language...I can finally reveal what they were saying in this song...

I don't know if I ever watches Bagpuss as a child. I heard this song, on some show on tv about the 100 greatest kids tv shows or something, for the first time a few weeks ago. I don't know why but it really struck a cord with me and I've listened to it nearly everday since. It's just such a wonderful melody.
