Some tv show did that though. They would air the common theme and then some episodes had a shortened theme opening. I totally got what the uploader was doing. Nice work.
Many '80s TV shows really had this practice happen to them, especially common w/ the vast majority of the '80s/early-to-mid '90s ABC Sitcoms such as: Webster (save for the 1st ep.), a few Who's the Boss? eps., Taxi, Mr. Belvedere, Full House, Perfect Strangers, Growing Pains, Benson, a few Bosom Buddies eps., among those '80s/'90s ABC Sitcoms.
Some NBC sitcoms such as: Cheers, Family Ties are among shows to have trimmed intro themes when they entered syndication.
