I Iive in a town where there are many with no soul. I am a very loving man and seek the company of other loving people. I love mozart and would love to talk to you if you are a loving person. Email: Thetruth1986@hotmail.co.uk
Way to fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also why did you split the violins up!!!! And why didn't the orchestra get softer when the Oboe and flute did their duet at the beginning!!!!!!!
To all who complain about the tempo: Mozart took the tempos very fast!!!!! There are sources which tell this! The tempos we know are influenced by the postromantic conductors. Music in barouqe and classic times were fast. There was not so much pathos in there as we have today.
I like your attempt at proper grammar, but I've noticed you failed to capitalize anything except "Chaplin".
The point of an ensemble(or an orchestra) is so that you can have multiple parts being played at once. If you just had Piano or Violin you could only play the melody and that gets boring extremely quickly. You wouldn't have any of the interesting harmonies and without a lower sound to support the higher pitched instruments, the sound pyramid collapses.
@sajnascreed thank you. but a proper or an improper grammar doesn't really matter. to me. Iol . and who cares if i use small letters on the beginning of my sentences? lol
anyways, you've made your point. but still, i would choose to listen to a solemn one than to this sort of a chaos to me. lol sori, but i have my own taste. although it's fine with me to listen to an Orchestra..'coz in some way, i enjoy watching the performers/musicians.
@inday811 i also find the over the top stuff a tad indulgent, i think it was like a 17th century rock and roll where they just got too obsessed with filling every last gap out with a wall of sound, so although you may have upset the local wildlife I can understand your comment
Achim Holub conducts a performance of The best Magic Flute Overture I have heard in years; truly performed, I believe, in the spirit of the interpretations of 18th and 19th century music by Kammerphilharmonie Graz. Would like to know more about this orchestra.
Its like in many orchestras, the higher voices state their tempo and the lower voices try to make the same statement but naturalitites with the instruments prevent that. Lower notes just can't let notes fly.
I loved watching the conductor here. I am musically challenged (i.e., can't play an instrument) but can recognize and appreciate great music, like Mozart's works. I liked that this conductor was not standing rigidly on a podium - he seemed to be more casual in his style. I found that really fascinating and entertaining.
the tempo is way too fast and i must say that the conducting style is also interesting and for me a little bit hard to follow but all in all a wonderful ensemble. ps check the london symphony's version
the sound good, just the conductor goes too fast.

it is better to avoid judgemental comments on such videos .... they should not get screened .... be it bad ( or even good to a certain extent) .....

i don't like orchestra. this can be better played by violin or piano alone.
and this sound is somewhat being used as background for Chaplin's comedy films. lol

love this interpetation... very deep sound... i agree that te adagio was rather hasty, but the allegro is briljant, love the idea of natural horns :)

The conductor had to go to the bathroom ... that's the reason for the fast tempo.

Is it just me or does the orchestra tend to play out of sync from time to time?
Dodo251 2 years ago
Or is it because of acoustics? I don't know, it's just that it sounds a bit funny at certain points.

finally a perfect relation between "slow" (intro) and "fast" (allegro). great performance, even if a bit on the edge of 'speeding'.
