  • the sound good, just the conductor goes too fast.

  • Way to fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also why did you split the violins up!!!! And why didn't the orchestra get softer when the Oboe and flute did their duet at the beginning!!!!!!!

  • it is better to avoid judgemental comments on such videos .... they should not get screened .... be it bad ( or even good to a certain extent) .....

  • @PenultimateRun no it isn't mozart, mozart is dead by now.

  • @cutiepiejenny1 So i see ur studiying :D

  • way..way too fast!

  • To all who complain about the tempo: Mozart took the tempos very fast!!!!! There are sources which tell this! The tempos we know are influenced by the postromantic conductors. Music in barouqe and classic times were fast. There was not so much pathos in there as we have today.

To the video: Really well done!

  • ياللا لا لا

  • @PenultimateRun can you explain please?

  • Really good orchestra. Shame about the conductor!

  • em minha opinião, a opera mais linda de todos os tempos.

  • muito lindo *-*

  • Mozart, the conductor is no exceptionnaly, no it was the musician. when there are a new mozart.

  • BELLEZA PURISIMA!!!

  • i don't like orchestra. this can be better played by violin or piano alone.

and this sound is somewhat being used as background for Chaplin's comedy films. lol

  • @inday811

I like your attempt at proper grammar, but I've noticed you failed to capitalize anything except "Chaplin".

The point of an ensemble(or an orchestra) is so that you can have multiple parts being played at once. If you just had Piano or Violin you could only play the melody and that gets boring extremely quickly. You wouldn't have any of the interesting harmonies and without a lower sound to support the higher pitched instruments, the sound pyramid collapses.

  • @sajnascreed thank you. but a proper or an improper grammar doesn't really matter. to me. Iol . and who cares if i use small letters on the beginning of my sentences? lol

anyways, you've made your point. but still, i would choose to listen to a solemn one than to this sort of a chaos to me. lol sori, but i have my own taste. although it's fine with me to listen to an Orchestra..'coz in some way, i enjoy watching the performers/musicians.

  • @inday811 i also find the over the top stuff a tad indulgent, i think it was like a 17th century rock and roll where they just got too obsessed with filling every last gap out with a wall of sound, so although you may have upset the local wildlife I can understand your comment

  • @DarkShroom lol. thank you so much! i can understand yours too! ^_^

  • Nádherné.

  • this is a voice I never heard before. This is a voice of god

  • its a masonic symbol .mozart was a mason

  • love this interpetation... very deep sound... i agree that te adagio was rather hasty, but the allegro is briljant, love the idea of natural horns :)

  • The conductor had to go to the bathroom ... that's the reason for the fast tempo.

  • Commentors of youtube, this is a classical and classy piece of music, so lets keep our comments classy as well.

    Please and thank you.

  • @rockinrollsoul Indeed. Not saying that SS Heydrich loved it soo much.

  • I have to play this to audition for Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra.

  • In addition to outstanding musical rendition, the stage setting and lighting made it look like a Rembrandt painting come to life!.

  • Achim Holub conducts a performance of The best Magic Flute Overture I have heard in years; truly performed, I believe, in the spirit of the interpretations of 18th and 19th century music by Kammerphilharmonie Graz. Would like to know more about this orchestra.

  • Mamma mia, Adagio maestro! alla breve, yes, but still Adagio!

  • Is it just me or does the orchestra tend to play out of sync from time to time?

  • Or is it because of acoustics? I don't know, it's just that it sounds a bit funny at certain points.

  • Its like in many orchestras, the higher voices state their tempo and the lower voices try to make the same statement but naturalitites with the instruments prevent that. Lower notes just can't let notes fly.

  • whoa! bravo

  • i love this song! i played this at blue lake fine arts camp....except slower, much slower.

  • Seems a bit fast for this piece? Or maybe it's just me...

  • :):)I play the fluteee<333(:

  • sounds great! i wanna learn violin soooo badly

  • I loved watching the conductor here. I am musically challenged (i.e., can't play an instrument) but can recognize and appreciate great music, like Mozart's works. I liked that this conductor was not standing rigidly on a podium - he seemed to be more casual in his style. I found that really fascinating and entertaining.

  • Did Mozart write this jus minutes before the opera get started?

  • I Think This is Absolutely the best

  • beautiful !!! the velocity is a true ORIGINAL EXPLOSION

  • Your entire orchestra is absolutely enthralling. They are really putting tehmselves into the music.

  • we are all following the magic flute of freemasonry. I understand now.

  • I think its very good. Music is always good, especially when u play it with love, soul, and put all your heart into it

  • what does overture mean?

  • ouverture=openning

  • oohhh tnxx

  • omigosh i use to love playin this song on the flute

  • finally a perfect relation between "slow" (intro) and "fast" (allegro). great performance, even if a bit on the edge of 'speeding'.

  • Sir, you are a great conductor. I loved this from beginning

    to end.

  • Music such beautiful for a human being.

  • Yes, a bit speedy, but I can't truly complain; after all, I didn't perform it, conduct it, record it, or upload it... Thanks for posting!

  • Acoustics aren't great and played a bit fast... still a masterpiece though!

  • i prefer the slower version

  • Fantastic tempo!

  • i like it! its a tad bit fast though

  • way too fast the overture version

  • Love it!

  • too bad that the recording is far too much compressed, everything has about the same loudness.. tempo ok imho

  • the tempo is way too fast and i must say that the conducting style is also interesting and for me a little bit hard to follow but all in all a wonderful ensemble. ps check the london symphony's version

  • Interesting Observation :)

  • good

  • really good

  • The tempo is way too fast

  • I agree about the tempo being to fast.

    I still love it though.

  • i also agree, i prefer a bit slower but itz still played well
