  • This so called preacher isn't worth the trouble of even giving credit to as a speaker of any bordering on truth.

  • @cavs608 So, assuming satan is fictitious, are you also saying that evil is a lie? And if satan/evil is non-existent, then what is the purpose behind the Bible in any state - altered or not?

  • you know wat christians dont know? you know how in the bible they call jesus the morning star? do you happen to know what the word satan orignnally meant back in the time when the bible was written? it was another name for the morning star. satan was a made up figure by the catholic church when they took parts of the bible out that they didnt like.

  • no doubt, but that does in no way diminish our responsibility, to preach, and defend the Word of God. I am not an Arminian, and I agree more so with the Reformed view, but that shouldn't cause me to coral with my brothers and sisters in Christ. (John13:34-35) says to Love one another. Thats how the world will know we're his, because of our love one for another. I Pray that just as this great truth has dawned on me that it would on You as well. Grace to You all.

  • (1st Cor 3) paul said to the corinthians, "are You not carnal'' speaking of those who said I am of paul I am of Apollos I am of Cephas... In the context he was speaking to immature believers who would argue over irrational matters, instead of focusing on Christ. Brothers, Sisters, we need to stop arguing over little inessential views, and join each other an fight the false views of our faith. Are we gonna sit here and grumble while the enemy is on the move, I pray not. Our God is Sovereign...

  • My bullshit meter is reaching its limit.

  • @vintagegodz I meant to thumb down in case you see this. This was a true man of God.

  • Very wise words, PRAISE GOD!!!!!

  • And if any belief outside of Election states that Christ has failed at not saving everyone then let's discuss original sin. Since our world is sin and not perfect did God fail at creation or did man's free will mess it up? Calvinist, be careful how you answer.

  • God works ALL things in conformity to the purpose of His will.(Eph. 1:11) God decreed the fall of man, but God uses man's evil for His good to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.(Gen. 50:20) Now, Arminians becareful how you answer,

"Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?"(Lam.3:37)

  • @jhiggedit Im a 4 point Calvinist, I believe Christ died for his sheep in an eternal sense, but I believe he died for everyone, were just too sinful to come to him apart from his grace. I can't justify at all in my conscience from the scriptures that Christ didn't die for everyone at all. Seems incredibly biased for me.

  • @jhiggedit Calvinists are wrong about many things, however A Calvinist will get that particular question wrong, as will anyone else, because your premise is flawed. God knew even before He created Adam, that man would fall, and that He would have to send Christ to redeem all mankind. God did not fail, and man is INCAPABLE of messing up any God's plan, except for His plan for their individual lives. Man messes that one up all the time, but even that contingency was part of God's original plan!

  • @jhiggedit

John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

    that's how a calvinist answers.

  • Dr Adrian Rogers brought many people to Christ driven by his compassion for the lost. And never apologized for the truth.

  • Sometimes it appears that we need the "eartly-all-knowing" to re-write the Bible for the rest of us. Of course, be warned... read Revelation chapter 22.

The Word of God is full of Conditional statements - from cover to cover. Please, please, intellectuals... how does one formulate the lack of free will based on the scriptures that gives us, word for word, the opportuinty to accept or reject with clear consequences for either CHOICE.

  • To doubt that God knows "who will" and "who will not" accept, simply doubts the omniscience of God. BUT for the scholars that tears apart John 3:16 and narrows the scope of that verse to, For God so loved the elect, builds deceiving thoughts for the rest of the scriptures. Please, let those same scholars explain away the over 1000 other references to whosoever in the New Testament.

  • @jhiggedit Jn.3:16 "For God so [in this way] loved the world [in the creative sense, not every single individual-- you would have to prove otherwise] that he gave his only unique son, that all the believing ones would not perish, but have eternal life"

*This would be the literal rendering of Jn.3:16. There is particularity in this verse. It's talking about what BELIEVERS receive as the result of their belief.

"World" means the world in its created sense, it's not talking about individuals

  • higgedit, great videos

  • No he wasn't! He believed in the false gospel of free will of man, God not choosing a particular people, He believed Jesus really really wants to save everybody, yet failed, for many he wanted to save ended up in hell, etc. He was a false teacher.

  • lost soul.

  • who is a lost soul?

  • I would say you, Im not into denominations. And definitly not into the southern baptist convention. But Rogers was a good preacher with great knowledge of the Holy Bible. Any man that speaks out against God is doing the work of the devil. He was a sinner, but he was preaching the gospel. And with your comment I would say you are a lost soul.

  • u are entitled to ur opinion. But u must know ur opinion is based on wordly, human reasoning. Just because a person mentions some truth, "jesus", bible, etc. does not mean it is the true Christ of the Bible. He adamantly rejected those that stood for a Sovereign God, He preached against the doctrine of Election, He preached against particular redemption. He hated the truth. Maybe he repented of this, I am not aware of it. I hope he did.

  • Well, let me ask you this...Show me in scripture(Holy Bible) where he is wrong.

  • @graciecleveland ///Gracie, why do you think you are a lost soul? I prayed for you. Maybe you are not. If you're worried about it, You probably are NOT a lost soul.

  • not me, the person who was nocking this video!! Jesus died for me, this I know!

  • God bless you graciecleveland.

  • That man was a great preacher.

  • amen
