Interesting thumb ring. It isn't round all the way around. Seems to have an oblong cross section at the shooting point. Can you comment?

Great shooting. Also wonder what highest draw weight bow you have shot with. I have heard that medieval bowmen using the Turkish method shot bows with pulls approaching 160 pounds. I would be interested in your comments about that.

The eliptic design works for a better fit around the thumb.

I have shot a 80 pounder once. 160 is one of the speculated draw weights for old Turkish Bows in the Topkapi Palace. There are also greater estimates. You may find more info on our website: tirendaz.
