  • not enough "oomph." this isn't really written for younger voices, but it's doable. you fell a little short, but i'm sure your voice has matured and you kick this song's ass (assuming you've added more impact, dynamic range, staccato, etc)

  • nice job! gold I assume

  • How many times I've heard this song in high school......you soud good, though.

  • not at all the right song for you.

  • I went through puberty, and my high voice disappeared for a while.

  • My higher voice is finally starting to come back, and I would have to agree that I'm more of a tenor than a baritone anymore.

  • @trumpetproz, and how old are you if you don't mind me asking...?

  • This is the song i did for my all-state audition. It's a hard piece. I like how you have a friendly, smooth voice, it carries the song well. I hope you did well on this, i think you did.

    Keep Singing brother!!!!

  • Dude your a tenor

  • Excellent job! You sound mature-for-your-age in this video-you're 17 in this vid? Anyway, nice vibrato, nice tempo contrast throughout. What I'd say is find a visceral place for your sound to come from (an "oomph" if you will-helps to take care of nerves and also puts everything in a core place. Gotta agree with swimnact here too-you're not reflecting the "gimme what I need, I don't care about the rest" attitude that this piece wants you to have. Excellent job, keep on singing and performing!

  • Your sound is really great on this... but this song especially needs some emotion and facial expressions that's a bit... darker and more mysterious!

  • you did very well, but i would say u should work on is especially in this song, is not having such a sweet tone. I mean don't get me wrong ur tone is great and that sort of sweet lullubyish tone is great for alot of songs, but for this one try for a more darker, richer, and powerfull tone, just a thought

  • i think you should listen and coach yourself from bmatt05's video.

  • Awesome job!

  • Hey there, very good intonation and vibrato...you seem to be very musical and talented. However there is one thing that not many singers your age have discovered: You have two resonators, [I won't ask how many you have :)I'm saying you have a head resonator and chest resonator. You are using the chest resonator for low notes, not bad. But as you go higher, you use the head but you kinda leave behind the chest. You might also need to work on breath management so talk to your teacher about this!

  • Awesome job. The only thing I would say is work on your support and consistent vibrato. Otherwise great job.

  • Hey...good job :)

  • Very well done indeed! A very fine rendition of an RVW classic

  • Very nicely done. I see we have two things in common, both play trumpet, and both sing baritone. But I think you're a bit better than me in both areas. Bravo!
