The state of economy is in such a state is because of us, yes, we caused this as individuals in our own creative ways. We abused the econmy in various ways some by using their job positions like fat cats, some by consuming habbits such as their sealingless wants, needs, desires, selfishness, greed, the love to own and not to let others own, some by their politics at various levels being micro, meso and macro, therefore we need to work together to correct the mess we created in the first place.

like u said, obama can be a hope to change some things, but its still each and every single one of us who gotta work on making the world a better place.

...(continued) So yeah, we can say that world peace is a solution, to dissolve racial, economic,... barriers would be great, but man kind is NOT ready at all to live in an "eden-esque" world. So money is our safety net, something that distracts us from the hopelessness of life. So theoretically, this Earth is doomed and morbidly there is truly nothing that is going to prevent the eventual demise of our systems of life (i.e. Economy). When we look at the basic divides in the world, they all lead back to fiscal reasons. To see what's wrong with the economy, play Machiavelli instead and follow the money trails. Too many people are vulnerable to greed and theft by those financially more powerful than they are. This is why we have inadequate distribution of resources, trade deficits and wars.

I have some ideas to work toward a solution but lack the money, technology and know how as a single citizen. And that is the point really. The world must come together and fund those 4 areas of its criteria that are before the WEF, just as it states in my video; All of this comes down to money and the desire to act based on cost/losses. I like your thoughts! It's common values that we share & which we must rise to protect and improve. Being too self-interested (as nations, companies, investors, or individuals sometimes do) is harmful; I agree! Since money is one motivator in human culture, it can be a force for the benefit of both individual & the whole, if the more honest, ethical, and humane businesses are promoted, and those who have bad business practices are checked by honest governance on our behalf. education is key.

An engine left ungoverned over-speeds & flies apart. Government is that governor, and it has to balance economic forces & individual rights with ecological & social concerns on our behalf - to protect the commons & act as an intelligent referee following fair rules of conduct. To function properly, it is dependent on a well educated populace & representatives that work on our behalf, and support the defense of the commons. To get that, elected officials need to be accountable to the citizens.

Anyhow, I just think we need to get the big money out of politics, and set campaign contributions to no more than 1 day's living wage at the max.+ Term limits = 3 terms max. for Congress, similar for state offices. And give every registered candidate free air time (in return for the broadcaster's privilege of using the public commons (our radio frequency spectrum)) Fully fund education & research, & energy efficiency 100%
