  • Pls U Could Send Me Where U foun The HD version Of Migrate ON SNL i have searchinfor a Long Time But I cant found Anywhere :(

  • Which performance at 7:15?

  • people need to see this if they think she isn't one of the most talented female singers EVER!

  • im pretty sure she could have gotten lower when she was doing the G#2

  • whats the song at 8:20 please? :)

  • @sentfromupabove thnx!

  • 5:03 = mariah's best G#5 ever

  • ok so i'm not a singer but other so-called singer these days make the actual vocal performance most look really tortuous, in their facial expressions. like they are having a panic attack. one of the things ive always enjoyed about mariah is the fact that she'll push out even the most ridiculous notes with relative ease and minimum physical effort. i love that she makes singing look so easy and comfortable lol

  • 7 are ''better'' than mimi .. errr ...

  • she is the queen of the whistles notes more than adam lopez tooooooo

  • Parto addio!!!!!!!!!!

  • 令人感動的瑪咪咪的 G#2-G#7

    從16歲一直陪伴著我的喜怒哀樂到現在~

  • omg now that i look in the head voice section it looks like i totally copied the first notes XDDD (in my head voice vid) but i swear i didn'tttttt did u see my tokyo dome 1998 vid btw?

  • 4:14.. What song is that?

  • @Vargo0071 Cant Take That Away

  • how many octaves is that range?

  • this is quality..... a qualified star

  • i can sing along only to 06:33 but i can go lower

  • I'm sure Mariah has like a 6 or 7 octaves range, cause she did that G#7 so effortlessly, she can go much higher!

  • What is the song this the first F#5? Even if you can see that is not live...

  • @GCassa94 Can't Take That Away.

  • I love Mariah but the first D5 is Horrible...

  • dat C5 (C4-C5) it's D4-D5.... :D

  • can you please correct me, but I heard, the piano keyboard has no note to the voice of Mariah Carey? The note is out of the piano keyboard?

  • AMAAAZING!!!!!!!!

  • "your creativity is unparalled" i bet you know what i mean

  • F3-F4 is speaking voice for most women, above that is upper chest.

  • @rekupp I'd say upper chest begins at different points for every voice type Mariah's begins at G#4/A4.

  • I can go lower than her but i cant go higher than her and i have a whistle register but a way better falsetto register what does that mean??

  • @jameld55 lol u could be many vocal types with that description upload u singing something.

  • @jameld55 Stop bragging.

  • @ElliieeTandy Im not Bragging.. I Was just asking

  • Comment removed

  • @broadwaybaby2409 I know what you mean, although it's not squeaking lol, she is producing those notes from her throat and has absolute control over them they aren't unmusical screeches they are melodic, her whistle register is a phenomenon and it's part of her vocal range.

  • ....nice! I watched in absolute awe!

  • 6 peoples are stupid and deaf!!!

  • What is the song at5.12 with A5 please? :)

  • @GCassa94 The One

  • @sentfromupabove Thank you

  • VEAN, APRENDAN Y SHHHHH!!!! :)

  • AMAZINGGGGGG!!!!!!! LOVE THISS!!!

  • What the name of song 7.36.... and where if i'm watch this in youtube ?? (sorry i'm french !!) Thank's for this video, Mariah is the best !

  • @into0the0wild H.A.T.E.U.

  • @sentfromupabove Thank you so so much ! Peace!

  • ouch..why haven't i ever seen this before? this is the best vocal range demonstration of her entire 5 octave. most of the other vids on this r repetitive but you chose different performances/ notes frm different eras. NICEE

  • @kelvinpyaeko Thank you very much :) I may redo this in the future in higher quality with more notes but YT took away my 15 mins+ video uploading option :(

  • @sentfromupabove yeah, YT sucks sometimes lol

  • 5:03

    The song names???

  • @stardusth2o My Saving Grace.

  • is 5:16 ment to be C6?

  • @TheTomBales No that is a C5.

  • @sentfromupabove oh right, is it that she does C5 in her upper chest but also in her whistle register? :)

  • @TheTomBales That is not possible. lol!

  • @TheTomBales That is a head voice note.

  • is 5:16 ment to be C6?

  • Also, what is the second B5?

  • How do you know that the A5 in chest voice is lipped?

  • woah the D6 at 6:46 sounds like a mix hah.

  • woah the D6 at 3:46 sounds like a mix hah.

  • THE FIRST SONG OF F#5 WHAT IS?:DD PLEASE!:DDD

  • @JOSEJ48 Cant Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)

  • is the A5 in chest voice is real? thought she never did any A5 in chest voice

  • @petervu It's lipped unfortunately lol. But she could do it I bet.

  • @sentfromupabove LOL, she could :) but she just want everything to be perfect so...

And I think if she unleash her voice, maybe she can reach C6 :)) just feel like every single note she sang in chest voice, she held back a little bit

  • what's the name of the song at 3:24(Eb5)

  • @UniqueCeCeMusician Emotions :) This is a live rendition at MTV unplugged.

  • nobody is so comfortable in F#5 like mariah, exept for whitney lol.

  • @iiAmitx3 I don't know...Whitney never mixed so those upper belts (F5-G5) were very throat-y. Mariah had that strong upper chest/mixed voice, ands he resonating in the head a lot giving that bell quality to the notes.

  • i thought the last F5 was an F#5?

  • @iiAmitx3 No its an F5, Emotions was lowered by 2 keys on MTV Unplugged.

  • @sentfromupabove ohh anyway she had amazing F#5's in that part when she was promoting, such as arsenio hall performance or Des O' Connor. so much power! that F5 was pretty awesome too lol

  • Guys, imagine Mariah's baby's range. Genes are normally passed on to become bigger and/or better than their parents' genes. So if Mariah has a 5 octave range, what if her baby has a 6 octave range????? NEW LEGEND ON THE WAY!!!

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 Hahaha true and btw mariah probably had 6 octaves in her prime she never showed her highest note the G#7 here was effortless :P Her vocal coach claimed she went higher than the piano doing a C#8 (minimum)

  • @sentfromupabove Woah!! Well looks like this baby's gonna have 8 octaves! Hahahaha :D

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 that's positive but sometimes genes combination does some bad genes appears :)

  • @petervu Hahaha true

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 Possibly.. I mean, look at Mariah's mother - she did opera !

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 Her babies won't have a larger octave range unless they develop vocal nodules like she has, which is the only reason she can go into whistle register. Her babies will probably have crazy deep voices.

  • @Raimundo91 We'll seeee

  • @mAnNyElLaTiNo33 Haha,it's not much like this.It mostly depends on technique and 'talent' for discoverig your vocal range and registers. It's not like this that someone has only 2 octaves and someone has over 4.You know, everyone has the same vocal chords. We can different type of voice, but everyone can learn how to use it in the same way :P But Mariah has possibly nodules on vocal chords, that's why she can hit extremely low and high notes. But I believe everyone is able to reach about 4 octaves.

  • @fuckingbrill I know ahaha

  • @fuckingbrill wait having an opera singer for a mother must help too lol

  • @charissecoal I guess it doesn't mean anything :P You can get talent for music from parents, but vocal range is rather a part of technique.

  • I love how her vocal range video is 11 minutes, yet gaga's is 4... just sayin'...

  • On that descending run in "You and I" she pulls her larynx down. Not a good example.

  • @rekupp Yeah I'm aware but I love the note itself :P I hope you liked the rest of the vid though? xD

  • @sentfromupabove Of course!! :D

  • hey, u forgot all ur mind whistle chord is F7

  • @RaciouS91 this is a live vocal range video lol i am more than aware she does an F7 in the studio version.

  • @sentfromupabove how about acapella version she made?

  • @RaciouS91 what?

  • so many vids, i really like this vid! very much, please tell me where she was at 1.23, which ellen show was it?:) so damn pretty

  • @CyprusHot Thank you :) It was an appearance in 2009 she was dabbing her perfume xD

  • @sentfromupabove im in love with her singing here on the ellen show :P... love mc she is so real :P

  • @music2222222 Irrelevant...Lol thats a B2 and this is her LIVE vocal range.

  • That D6 with John Legend was beautiful. The E5 in If It's Over is beyond words.

  • I love the way you made this video. You compiled the best notes she hit! EXCELLENT

  • What song is the last B2?

  • @survivorcow713 You and I(LIve)

  • @applmac2009 Thx. And one more. What is the first F#5?

  • @survivorcow713 your welcome, and Can't Take That Away (live)

  • Things to keep in mind: a) Mariah could've gone and has gone a couple notes lower and b) Mariah was dancing when she hit those G7's. Those G7's were effortless: imagine if she tried.

She has at least 6 octaves.

  • @BlackLightning20101 Mariah has gone lower in the studio so I know she can and her vocal coach claimed she went higher than the piano in the 90s so I really wouldnt be surprised if she had 6 octaves in her vocal prime. But this is her official live vocal range.

  • She is the number one....the best voice blessed the King of glory

  • To me, this is the best video you've ever done! Very detail, and very enjoyable to watch as well!

  • @beachfanatic2010 Thank you :D

  • one of my favorite videos ever!!

    thanks for sharing :)

  • @daniel91503 Thanks :D Please subscribe :)

  • Also another question could mariah go lower or higher than she has shown if she wanted 2

  • i dont get y there is a D6, Eb6 and E6 in head voice but also in whistle

  • @Shazni1409 Because it shows that she can execute these notes in both registers unlike many people who skip notes and have incomplete vocal ranges. In her prime I believe she could have belted a C6 and her vocal coach says she went higher than the piano (C8+) so she could have easily have/had 6 octaves. Hope you subscribe :D

  • @sentfromupabove kk how come no1 has evidence of tht coz it wud be amazing 2 see and hear, but can she still go higher or lower than wot the video shows

  • @Shazni1409 because it wasnt recorded lol.

  • @sentfromupabove but can she still go higher or lower than what we know is it still possible

  • @Shazni1409 yes.

  • @sentfromupabove even with her damaged vocals blimey she is one goddess hope we some1 can get a vid of tht ehh

  • i appreciate that u tried to use notes from all years, but many of them were lipped lol

  • this is different with many g#2 to G#7 video like calvin999999 made. it's more complete

  • @aangcarey

Yeah because mine was old. No one used to make such detailed video's like how they do now.

  • how do you compile this from different videos do you download all that videos from that video or you screen capture them? what program you use?

  • @PeeWeestle I download the individual videos then compile them in Windows Movie Maker usually.

  • @sentfromupabove oh thanks....

  • In the old videos she used to use the whistle register sooo much better... Without all the dangerous air she puts in now.

  • is the Bb2 consider as low notes and the c are higher notes right?

  • @khmerAZNet The number of the note determines how high or low it is, the bigger the number (of the note) the higher the note e.g. a D7 is a very high note however a C3 is a low note. A note in the second octave like a B2 is a low note. An octave scales from a C to a B, B being the highest note in the particular octave e.g (low to high) C2 C#2 D2 Eb2 E2 F2 F#2 G2 G#2 A2 Bb2 B2. Hope that helped.

  • what is the song in the minte 4:47??? please someone tell me

  • @LeonardSaint the G5? is Honey By mariah carey ^..~

  • 3 viewers cry BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST

  • AND MARIAH'S FIRST CHILD CAN REACH A HIGH NOTE!

  • MARIAH CAREY THE GODDESS OF MUSIC

  • I am happy you gave importance also to the low register... usually people consider only the high notes, but I find her low voice so SEXY and beautiful, full of emotions :)

  • At 9:38 her baby gonna be like mommy mommy mommy come he-re now now oh mommy. Lol. In whistle form... Lol.

  • SHE IS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL.. HER BABY IS GOING TO BE BEAUITFUL ALONG WITH THE WHISTLE REGISTER...LOL.

  • OMG ... that's just fantastic lol

  • simply the best !!!!!!!

  • In other your videos third Bb2 is A2 and first C5 is C#5 so what are these notes?

  • @LoveGreatVocal A2 & C5. Must have been typos =P

  • @sentfromupabove OK, I get it :)

  • unique!

  • It`s so weird seeing videos from her past and present like this.. like one second she looks young and iconic, then the next she looks like an old diva with too much botox

  • this video is awesome!!!!!!

  • I never knew she could go all the way up to an A5! God lord! Do you think she can recreate it in her current vocal state?

And you use a program to determine the notes, or do you recognize it by ear?

  • 10:49 ??? when?

  • @TheFanEntertainment Music Box Tour 1994.
