the problem: the video is 3 seconds long (2:36) and the file size is 10,9 MB. So a normal movie (90 minutes) is (90x60x3,6) 19440 MB (THAT IS 19GB!!).... why does DVD makers don't share the secret :(..

@quizz600 press 0 on the number pad, let the frames render. it will do it automatically. you'll see the green line at the top of your footage, wait until that's all the way across your editing timline. it should play automatically at real time with audio. Try that.

I really suggest rendering the video in AVI format and using Lagarith Lossless Video Codec to render video ONLY. Then render the video again in WAW format. Download Legion to encode the video. It's a Small video with a GREAT quality.

@HowTosh No, because it's saving the images as individual jpegs (still images) vs video. I'd suggest H.264, but yes, it will be smaller

@MrCheeseDragon No. You are clicking quicktime for the file type, then go into "quicktime options." Under video codec click it. Otherwise, QT videos will take hours longer for the same quality.

@ATIDrift You are doing it correct. The way he is showing you results in an uncompressed HD file, hence the large sizes. If you want to compress the video while keeping quality intact, you will need to use the H.264 profile and change some settings.
