@SovjetPhoenix forward swept grumman. forward swept su47. how is that so different??? just because the 47 is soviet doesn't mean they invented the forward swept wing. the soviets pioneered the flying wing, and now the US uses that technology in the B2. there are so many similarities in aviation, just as everywhere else. @alkimst13 The forward spept wings came from germany, we used it for the SU-47 to gain more experience (for the T-50). The difference is that the SU-49 is a multirole fighter while the X-29 is more like a training jet. Both has forward swept wings but the technology and charactaristics are totaly different. Some Idiots think that these jets are compareable but they're not, thats all^^

У су-47 есть недостаток в аэродинамике в районе хвостовой части, из за чего есть опасность ее разрушения, поэтому его и не поставили на вооружение. Вот МиГ 3.11 - довольно перспективная разработка.
Sanvel88, попробуй представить. Обратная стреловидность крыла даёт фантастическую манёвренность, но нагрузка на крылья ложится огромная. Можно просто представить в мыслях как он летает и что дают ему эти крылья. Просчитать одним словом. Бумеранг тоже как-то летает. )

@Hatinonthehaters ....The swept wing was invented by Germany during WW2.....but the US was doing research with it in the early '80's. Since there is only 1 SU-47, how can it be considered as 'top fighter' ? 1 squadron of DEPLOYED F22's far outranks 1 experimental aircraft.
Same can be said for Russia's 1 and only aircraft carrier compared to the US with 13 active and with 2 more in progress....

У су-47 есть недостаток в аэродинамике в районе хвостовой части, из за чего есть опасность ее разрушения, поэтому его и не поставили на вооружение. Вот МиГ 3.11 - довольно перспективная разработка.

Sanvel88, попробуй представить. Обратная стреловидность крыла даёт фантастическую манёвренность, но нагрузка на крылья ложится огромная. Можно просто представить в мыслях как он летает и что дают ему эти крылья. Просчитать одним словом. Бумеранг тоже как-то летает. )
