  • Spotter....you know what i mean...

  • should have done some fancy danceing like the other marshalls

  • @torque233 I think you just failed cause if I'm right(cause i went to college and took english classes) Loser is one word.

  • @kingsandqueens01 I know dude I just kidding. please don't cry :-(

  • @torque233 Also i don't think "I just kidding" Is proper English LOL

  • @kingsandqueens01 also I think you're a very annoying man. get a job.

  • @torque233 I have a job cause i went to College you on the other hand just sit at the computer, drink sodas and chips and watch youtube videos all day.

  • @kingsandqueens01 you have a job because you went to college? kinda funny how most people have jobs because they have a sense of responsibility and a neediness to survive. but i'm glad that just sitting in classes mumsy and dadsy payed for landed you a job burger boy.

  • @kingsandqueens01 and ALSO a very big parrot

  • What airport is this?

  • That 750's got big, fuck-off engines!

  • Ah, good old MYE CJ1+. Was only about a couple of months old when this was taken. Nice work.

  • Sounds like you got a good job.

  • I was number 30,000 views

I'm off to buy a lotto ticket.

  • for the pilots that fly that, sure is a piece of shit. They are stuck forever on short range private jets, flying way more, work more, earn less then their friends that fly the medium - long range jets. Poor shmucks

  • Its called a career path, you shmuck, i dont know a single pilot stuck on CJ's etc, all moved onto something bigger

  • Career path ? LOL does such a thing even exist in corporate aviation these days ? For your information, so far 80% of the world airlines that ever existed failed over the course of many years, and in corporate aviation the numbers are even worse. I would be real careful to mention the word "Career path" when it gets to corporate aviation. You either fly for a stinking rich guy that flies the real stuff and not that bathtub in the video, or you might as well go regionals.

  • Well i work in corporate aviation, and i've got a lot of friends flying the bigger 'fancy stuff' and almost all of them went through the normal lines, twin pistons, turbo prop, light jet, medium jet etc etc.

I dont know where you work but in Europe its definitely a stepping stone. To me the idea of flying regional fills me with dread! I love my current job and wouldnt want it any other way

  • Whenever a company 'fails' or goes bankrupt as most people know it. The people who worked for that company don't magicaly loose their jobs, they can still progress their career onto better planes in another company. Often best way to get promotions is to go between companies anyway.

  • sorry buddy, in aviation you are wrong. I will put one of many examples. A guy flies for a major airline, flying 747s and that airline goes bankrupt. If no other airline has 747 in your country, but lots of 737 and they are hiring or expanding, then you will go from a 747 to 737 = less salary, you start with 0 seniority, etc etc. My friend, I am afraid you don't 100% know what aviation is all about. This is not a bank, wherever you go, you start from 0 as the salary... :(

  • I can see the problem if you are not able to work for companies all over the globe and only from your own country. But surely this is an even better reason to go for companies with larger planes when the opportunities arise, rather then waiting for the airline to go bankrupt, I know easier said then done, but the salary must be fairly good on 737s still hehe. ;)

  • I know what you mean but believe me, if you go work for Korean Air, Air China or Ethihad, Emirates whatever, your living standard will drop, even if you live in 5 star hotels. I lived in 5 star hotels and after 2 months you start going crazy in there. Also, Asian culture, 1% of them speak English, food sucks for a Westerner. UAE is too big of a culture shock and a Mickey Mouse Club Med on top of it. Sure, you can go wherever, but if you want good quality life, you will stay near home :) trust me

  • I was thinking just moving around europe hehe, but i see your point.

  • some of these pilots they have no clue how 2 fallow the line service.

  • Or spell...

  • that cone will protect him.

  • That cone is 'highly respected'! It is like a 'red light' or a STOP sign! The marshal also is aware should the aircraft go out of bounds he does know how to dive and roll!

  • citation = POS

  • A multimillion dollar POS of course.

  • how much do u guys get paid for this?

  • whats the point? well i dunno if youve not noticed but these things dont have mirrors

  • they do lol just on many you havnt got the situational awareness and its good to have help =P

  • wow wish my job was as easy as that hehe you not scared you get run over? X

  • I'm too lazy to google this, so maybe you can help me considering it's what you do, my question is; What does a Marshal actually do? may seem like a stupid question, never been to an airport or travelled anywhere by plane so i'm not entirely sure! thanks!

  • you insensitive basterd. He is doing a job. Most probably your unemployed and always insult the ones who have regular money in their pockets. Stupid diot. An djkeller good work. Keep it up mate

  • hey man i am sorry my brother got on here and did all sorts of things to my computer and this account. You had great form and looked confident while marshaling. I fly and i hate when the marshalers are uneasy about what hand signals to give. Great Work!

  • apology accepted :D

  • the point in marshalling is that when the aircraft is coming to its terminal, they can guide it in and make sure its not too close, or it over shoots wer it should be. It makes it easier for pilots. Im do this in the RAF, and most likely, th only people that see the point in this, is if u actulay do it for a living.

  • Awwh man i could never last at that job, its so much work! Lmfao

  • Nice work. I worked line service for 10 years before flying jets full time. It's a fun job, especially in a busy airport.

  • I worked line service in the U.S. Navy despite the fact I was an avionics technician. It's actually a fun job but I have too many bad memories for me to say it's cool. The Navy just ruins everything.

  • well done, keep up the good work! what airport is this? do you ever got to marshall some heavy jets too? nice vid!
