  • I think he did a damn good job.

  • Wtf?? He pretty much demolished the cusions with that damn drill. How are you gonna get a brand new pair of skates and you already need new cushions????

  • too much work!

  • Just a reminder to some of the comments, when you build hundreds of pair of skates, power tools are necessary. Try building skates all day without the proper tools you will have severe wrist and joint ailments. He did a very good job. Also

all Chicago skates are already assembled.

  • @rollerdanceman This comment is not nessisarly for you but rather for the Noobs out there. The Reflex Utilitool is a perfect utility tool that is great for assembling your Quad Skates.

  • why did he just crush the pads? corn-fused...

  • drill

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • my boot fell apart please tell me how to fix it

  • and then the drill... NOOOOOOO!

  • For real, "How to Ruin a Pair of Skates."

  • How To Ruin a Pair of roller skates made easy.........DO NOT FOLLOW ANY OF THE ADVICE IN THIS VIDEO.

  • Please please PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!!! The only power tool that should come near skates is a drill to drill mounting holes in the boot. This person has smashed the cushions so there's no action at all. This will also ruin the cushions. And tightening the axle nuts with an impact driver is a sure fire way to destroy the bearings by over tightening. Plus, there is no way you should have that much side play in your wheels and should not be able to turn the axle nuts with your fingers. DO NOT FOLLOW

  • The ignorance level displayed in this video is breathtaking! Wrong names of things. Inappropriate use of tools. Total over-tightening of things to the point of damage!

I guess any fool can post a video, but please DO NOT FOLLOW these proceedures.

  • Power Tools for the trucks? are you mad? you just torqued ANY play out of those cushions. and no duh the wheels were too tight, deep well sockets are a sure fire way to damage bearing shields
