@JoeStunner: I was sat bored at the computer yesterday when I saw your comment. So had a look at it and found it was fairly easy to slow the video so if fits to the HKS version... I've got a bit more editing (don't want the end credits on it) and some after effects to do - but hope to get it uploaded soon.

Heard this audio cartoon on the radio those years ago and had to have it. Drew a comic version that appeared in Knockabout as an elaborate fan-mail. I still think it works best as soundtrack to your own imagination, some hybrid of Felix The Cat, Charles Addams and Edward Gorey. That final Bonk! is of course the sound of a whack that leaves the impression of a face in a frying-pan.
