I know that i'm a woman, and maybe I dont really have the right to say this (just as I don't believe men should comment on say...abortion) but, my family's religion and tradition insist that all of the men of our family be circumcised. So if you're uncut, thats cool, but doing something like banning circumcision would defy the separation of church and state.

@jimenezjae It's still cosmetic surgery whether it was your choice or not... what I am judging is the surgery itself which I see as unnecessary unless you happen to live in Southern Africa where water is hard to come by to keep clean, however if you live anywhere else in the world I think it's unnecessary and should be a choice as an adult. I'm a bit of a naturalist so I do prefer intact over cut, but that's just my preference just as many like cut more I'm sure, especially in the US & Israel.

Intact penises have a certain eloquence to them in that they don't expose everything up front.... there is a nice modesty to the foreskin that creates a little mystery, where you unveil the much smoother shinier glans.... where normally on a cut penis, the glans are dull and rougher.

@RavenousSky I'm with @jimenizjae on this -circumcision is not typically a choice in the MASSIVE majority of us that are cut, it was done as newborns -so it is NOwhere near being a boob job, which is always later in life & done with the woman's knowledge (& usually decision).
I don't mind cut or uncut -as long as it's clean, cute, & has the shrubbery trimmed up!

Men who are uncircumcised are at higher risk for STDs and 50% higher increase for HIV. Look up the HIV Vaccine study/trials there's lots of information on this subject and the push is on in Africa to get men circumcised, to help slow the spread of HIV.
