I would use these with caution. I know of a few people who have had these cut down in a match case and they had the strike end nead the strike lid of the match case...the stryle that has the striker inside the lid....and while walking and banging their pack around the matches sparked off inside the match case and made a little bomb. which did explode and ruin some of their gear. stuffing a cotton ball on top of the matches or just putting the min with the wood stick up toward the striker works.
