Bonds got pretty excited over that little home run.
"Damn. That muthafucka was smoked! Wasn't it? That shit was still going. That wall fucking fucked it up. That ball was on its way back to New York City. Don't ever say nobody about my shit."
Little did he know that he would be jacking longer home runs with ease over a decade later.
&PENS68 I was being sarcastic, ya meathead. But the Pirates are a joke, and aren't going to win a world series anytime soon. The Detroit Lions will get to the Super Bowl before the Pirates get to the World Series.
@HarlequinBuckeye I like to know how that considers to be a little league team as you call it when all of these guys played in the big leagues last year and some two or more? and that little league team is 14-15 on the year, hell they have a better record than some of these other high profile teams
Barry Bonds with an actual human sized head. Still my favorite player of all-time. I don't care if he took juice or left the Pirates. Best player to ever play the game. Dickhead or not!
"Best player to ever play the game." Are you on crack? Christ I can name dozens of former Pirate players that are better than him. He's was a great player sure even if he was on 'roids, but to say best ever in the game, that's crazy talk.
OK go ahead & name them. All "dozens" of them! I'll be waiting, then laughing. You're the same age as me so all the Pirates you name from the 60's & 70's are going to be just as outrageous of a claim as mine. Neither one of us saw any Pirate play in those eras.
At least Im making my own decision. Im not taking somebody's word for it. All the oldtimers think the era they grew up watching had the best players. Baseball writers are the worst.
So because you never saw them play that disqualifies them? yet another stupid assumption by you. Sorry, but you got caught making an outrageous claim, that Bonds is the best player ever. There are so many better players in this game that dates back to the 1800's.
What I should have said is there are at least a dozen players I believe to be better ballplayers with the Pirates alone.
And I don't know if I should feel sad or honored that you checked out my youtube page...anyway off the top of my head:
Honus Wagner, Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell, Hank Greenberg, Ralph Kiner, Pie Traynor, Paul Waner, Fred Clarke, Kiki Cuyler and Arky Vaughan.
Some of those guys had shortened careers so their career stats will reflect that but that doesn't change their athletic prowess regarding baseball. You can also make a case for Bill Mazeroski and Lloyd Waner.
I like the part where he is flexing and he is like no your arms are way bigger. Now if he did that Bonds would look like the incrible hulk to that guy.

Looked like a nice park. But what was that beyond the left field fence? Another ball diamond?

"...if that was the case, guys who won MVP would win every year..."
wonder if this was the moment he decided, "ya know what, I better start cheating so Terry Pendleton doesnt win another MVP"

@blacksabbath21641 Actually, 1992 was their last winning season. Their next winning season should be in 2092.

Been to Three Rivers twice, 92 and 94. Got McClendon's, Jeff King's, and Orlando Merced's autograph. Jim Leyland was too shy though.
