If they ask him to leave, they're already doing him a favor rather than arresting him outright. @horchmonkey For what this man was charged with, an ordinance which does not have a jail penalty, even if it were valid charge in this case, a citation is all that should be given. If he did not pay, he would then be given a court hearing. For him to be arrested at this time would be like you or I being arrested for speeding 10 miles over the speed limit at the time we were stopped.

@michaelballack There are many people who would love to support the child after birth, so many that there are waiting lists of about 2 to 3 years. The thing is after a woman chooses to give birth, most change their minds (something that abortion does not allow them to choose to do) and choose to keep their child. For those who have done so, and for those who have always intended to raise their child themselves, there are many pro-life orgs that do support them in raising their children.

There is a reason for the "Bubble Zone" that is place. It provides a "safe zone" for the workers and for the people going in to the clinic. I don't mind people protesting but you do have to follow the rules. The law, passed in October, states that a person cannot approach within 8 feet of another person without consent "for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education or counseling" within 50 feet from any health care facility.

If you read the Bubble Ordinance there is only supposed to be a $500 fine. Not jail. So the injustice here is the fact that he was arrested. The ordinance also says they have no problem with praying on the sidewalk. So why then was this man arrested?

@horchmonkey For what this man was charged with, an ordinance which does not have a jail penalty, even if it were valid charge in this case, a citation is all that should be given. If he did not pay, he would then be given a court hearing. For him to be arrested at this time would be like you or I being arrested for speeding 10 miles over the speed limit at the time we were stopped.

The thing is after a woman chooses to give birth, most change their minds (something that abortion does not allow them to choose to do) and choose to keep their child. However is it not just as easy to pray at home about this situation? A prayer outside the building doesn't do any more than a prayer at home. Why are you praying outside the building. It is to be seen. This is a protest, quiet but a protest none the less. Not to mention would it have been that hard to just follow the "Bubble Zone" and stayed back?

There is a reason for the "Bubble Zone" that is place. It provides a "safe zone" for the workers and for the people going in to the clinic. I don't mind people protesting but you do have to follow the rules. The law, passed in October, states that a person cannot approach within 8 feet of another person without consent "for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education or counseling" within 50 feet from any health care facility.

Take it up with supreme court. If you want no buffer zone around the clinic nor around the abortion clinic's employees' homes, then you want no buffer zone anywhere protesting is often done. This is in rule for a reason, and someone's just looking at the blunt edge of the sword here in terms of law.

just becuase in this video nothing disorderly happens doesn't mean that after the camera turned off their actions stayed the same passive way. they obviously knew they we're being filmed and thus acted accordingly.

Here's the thing about this. Planned Parenthood believe women have the right to choose. (As do I.) So for them to be behind choice so adamantly; you would think they would understand the concept of choice. The man should be able to pray where he chooses so long as he isn't physically hurting anyone. Which all can plainly see he isn't. Way to be a hypocrite, Planned Parenthood staff.

I see the disorderly conduct. That guy was standing way too close to the woman. It doesn't matter if he was first- he should have moved in order to maintain the bubble zone as the woman and her male door-opening counterpart have orders to stand at that specific position on either side of the door. If the pro-lifer man stands too close to her and does not feel the need to move, that is his fault and his responsibility.

Similar culpability accompanies abortion, which is to take an innocent life for the sake of convenience, especially when other options, including adoption, provide the opportunity for a better life. If you read the Bubble Ordinance there is only supposed to be a $500 fine. Not jail. So the injustice here is the fact that he was arrested. The ordinance also says they have no problem with praying on the sidewalk. So why then was this man arrested?
