i preferably like electric over gas r/c for drifting. Using gas powered r/c cars drift seems more like power sliding to me than drifting. Since its so fast, and a little more harder to control.(Well that is from I've seen) Electric has more control. And it drifts instead of power sliding. Again, this is just from what I've seen and heard, not what I've studied about. I started this hobby not too long ago. 'Am using a HPI Cyclone-S Drift Special Edition as my current r/c car. Electric ftw!

it probably can. Just change your tires to drift tires. Or in other words, get PVC or hard plastic compound tires. The settings of your suspension, etc. won't matter at the moment.

battery man, they're more reliable and better than nitro, plus there are alot places that don't exept nitro because thay are too loud and they make the track too slippery for the other drifters....
