Isn't this a bit ironic since Messier was known as a big time headhunter in his career and gave more than a few guys concussions? Just ask Mike Modano. Or Vladimir Kovin. Or any number of other guys who took an elbow or shoulder to the head from #11.

need stop 7 to 9g of acceleration on direct hits but they miss facial impact which it includes the chin being involve.
