I truly believe this video is the pinnacle of Toonami promos. No promo before or after got me so excited to watch a show like this one did. The 30 and 15 second Gundam Wing promos were all great but this 2-minute masterpiece was breath-taking. The two or three different tracks in it, the select cips and how it was all put together is just masterful.

I am truly thankful I was able to watch Toonami during the early 2000s not only for the series it introuduced me to but promos like this.

This trailer has a special place in my heart. It was the first trailer for my first official anime. Not only did it start a long lived love of anime but this trailer is probably the BEST anime trailer ever made. It was tasteful, action packed and best of all MATURE. I love this promo because it presents the show as what it is: a sophisticated, yet action-filled series with an intricate plot centered around politics, warfare, & complex characters.
