I do like her, she got real talent . @boboka 11 likes to know why and when Thai people use words krup, ka. Some people explained to you that for polite after conversations or in between. It means yes, too. Men use krup, ladies use ka. sometime grown up male use ka with a little girl. Also grown up female use krup to a little boy. It is not like yes, sir or yes mam because male or female you are talking with... in Thai ครับ krup or krub, ค่ะ kah not kaa, also tone of your voice will tell.

@boboka11 I actually don't know how to explain properly. But it's like a kind of 'tone of voice' when we speak.

It represents politeness for Thai conversation. For male you'd say "Krub" , and for female it's "Ka". You could say this to anyone to show them that you are being polite. Mostly you should use it when you're having a conversation with someone older than you, or someone you want to show them respect, like your boss (even if they're younger than you). You can use it whenever you want.

If you get a prepaid Thai phone card (DTAC, True Move) in an unlocked GSM phone can you send international text messages to vote while "roaming" back in your (home) foreign country? Seems possible. If so, it's just a matter of having a few delivered and having a cheap unlocked phone available at voting time? Anyone know if this will work?

@exnihilo415 Unfortunately this option would not work as the voting poll is a unique number (4838999) unlike the usual mobile line. I've explored this with AIS and that was their disappointing reply to me T~T. Adding country code +66 in front of the number would not work either. I am still trying to explore other possible options but the most viable one at the moment is to find a good friend in Thailand to vote on behalf at your own expense?

Appreciare if someone can have a better solution!

@boboka11 Mor Lam is Lao / Isan folk singing. It's great and difficult stuff. Search YouTube for "Siriporn" to get a sense of it. Note that this part of the song is in Lao and not Thai. Bell's choice of song here is smart both from a popular support perspective (since she's a local Isan girl) and because it's very well known rock song in Thailand. Folks in Isan have a longstanding gripe that Bangkok never listens to them so any chance to get more limelight is highly celebrated there.

@7seanchan This was good to show her range of talents but I think she should now stick to her core competancy next time for the win. She makes phonetic mistakes on english songs because she simply doesn't know english fluently enough. Intonation is great, but that's not all. Luckily the judges probably can't tell. I wish this wasn't the case and that she could rock out with GaGa's Born This Way but she's not really Joan Jett at heart exactly.

I totally believe her as she definitely took risk with her 3-in-1 song and hard rock image instead of the usual ballad with dainty delicate next door girl look! She simply wants to outdo herself in each performance!

To be honest, I did not like the performance initially but it grew on me as it dawns upon me the amont of effort she put in to arrange and remix the songs. Wish I could vote too!

Bell did a great job here. I'm disappointed in the audio engineer's work. Too much gated reverb on the former clouding things up and not enough high end EQ on the latter. Bell needs no help going/seeming low and it really cut those sibilant yelps and squawks that are trademarks of both Bodyslam and Siriporn. I'd love to hear a studio cut.
