I absolutely love this version of the song, first I heard it was Dead Like Me but I just assumed the version was made specifically for them and I'd find it nowhere else, then again I heard it with Mary & Max. I was so happy I found it on Youtube and could listen to the whole thing. It's haunting and lovely, and the trumpet sings as beautifully as she does.

Yes, Mary & Max was where I heard this version. It was utterly heart-breaking in that movie. In fact, that whole movie was heart-breaking. From the opening few scenes, to the valium, to the last scene in the apartment, it was like this song ripped open my chest and shredded my heart to pieces. ='(
