Very aptly sung song. Very good attention to expressions. The filler piece music somehow did not match with the meaning of the words of the song. It would be more appropriate to use the pattern of the composition to formulate the piece music.

1st of all thks for the upload..shotti oshadharon..I would like to make a comment..not coz i'm bengali..but its true..sometimes I wish tagore should been born in the uk/us..people talk about shakespeare..but Tagore..his talents..were/is/will be unparalleled..i feel we didnt give him enough repect for his work..God bless his immortal soul..RIP..

Much talked Shakespear is a creation of British Empire to dominate other nations, colonies culturally. They re-created Shakespear. and made him Shakespear. I am not disregarding Shakespear but comparing with tagore or other Poets/writters.

@TheKalimata With a lot of respect, I don't agree with the presumtion Tagore would have been better off born in the UK or US. You say people talk about Shakepeare but will you agree that by and large the Brits have left Shakespeare behind at school while Tagore remains with the Bengali always? There is not a child in either Bengals who cannot recite Tagore or unable to hold an intelligent coversation about Tagore. They are two beautiful men to be loved and not compared. Each in his own place.

@Emerystreet I can completely understand and appreciate your comments..but perhaps you missed my point..I wasnt comparing Rabi Tagore with Shakespeare since that would be counted as:BATULOTA: my point was I personally believe we didnt give him enough respect for his work..and what u said is not very true my friend..wish it was true..current generation won't be able to recite Tagore's poem's or work..atleast 8out of10.that a bitter truth>god bless

@TheKalimata I stand guilty as charged...I must have missed the point. Interestingly, in the late 1980s Cambridge University Union Society held a very interesting debate, the motion, who was the better philospher, Shakespeare or Tagore? You know it was a very close run thing..and in the end the Chairman had to give it to Shakespeare. Reason: Tagore had the benefit of history on his side. But atleast you and I know that they were two brilliant minds and mattered no a jot who won the debate.

@TheKalimata sorry to jump in...not sure what you really meant by 'respect'. If you meant if anyone understood him or not then I have to say I don't know. But in case you meant the regular way of our expressing respect then I have to say Bengalis(and many Indians) have showered their whole heart for kavi (may be even without understanding)..no where on earth I have seen picture of a poet hanging in the living room of uneducated or marginally educated people..that too with fresh flowers :-)

Rabindra sangeet brings out emotions in any  person. Rabindranath himself faced such problems in his personal life that each song carries his personal emotional touch. We feel the emotions when we listen to such intensely emotional songs.
