  • If you want to hear a kick-ass cover of this song, check out Mike Finnigan, Hard Times Who Knows Better Than I.

  • He did this a while back at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in RI and it was probably the best version I've ever heard of this. It's still nice to hear this version, though. What a treasure this man is.

  • Mostly, what makes me sad, is that there is only four comments in a discourse that has, theoretically, stretched half a year. This artist has earned more attention than he has won but somehow, I'm not upset about that; I'd rather have the martin sexton experience all to myself. His performance, his honesty in pure artistic expression, will never cease to amaze.

  • OMG fee, how do you know exactly what songs to record. This is one of my absolute fav's of his. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • @phrygianman after a ton of shows and even more live downloads from the archive, i know which tunes are rarely performed and try my best to get'em. "Cards" was certainly the highlight thus far of rarities,,,then this one. as you kknow this tune was only played during this tour and then back in the vault. Purest singer i've ever known....incredible.

  • Another gem :) Thanks Fee. I still don't know how he whistles so purely. I'm a good whistler, but that's just something I can't duplicate...

  • @toyz1784 hey thanks. his whistle is always spot on and pitch perfect. some of those notes are freakin tough to whistle, esp through a mic.
