Great interview and giving some insight about why the other director left the production. Probably I'd have liked it more with Frank's vision of the script. To suspend disbelief is OK but some things were really over the top. I keep waiting for the role that makes Gerry show all his acting hability. I know it's out there somwhere.

I think it is somewhat unfortunate that they did not go with Frank's interpretation of the plot. LAC was an okay thriller, but I think it could have been so much more had the story been handled less as a "popcorn thriller" and more as a straight drama. But I admire Gerry for taking on the role as a producer. I just didn't care for the film as much has I hoped I would. JMO
