  • does it work with logic pro/ pro tool?

  • @jameshark of course

  • Will this work with flstudio?

  • @billybrowning25 yep its a midi controller .

  • I just bought the Akai Mini. Everything works fine BUT I cant get the Q-link knobs and the pads to sync with Ableton 8.2.5! The keys work with it but I cant figure out how to do the rest. Help would be greatly appreciated!

  • @123ThinkABC hey hope this might help . do you have a pro audio card ? if not that might be your prob . also did you try adjusting the latency in the settings ?

  • it'll also work on a desktop right?

  • @A3BeatsProductions yea of course :) its just usb, but they market it towards laptop users due to portability. hope this helps

  • @HELLJUMP3R7 yup. thanks a lot!

  • @A3BeatsProductions no problem :)

  • On what program you do it

becouse i have same lpd8 but cant do music on him

    becouse dont have program :/

  • @XxDragizzxX

If u have a LPD8 but NOT a program to make beats with it.. Then i don't get it why u got it at all

  • @Pyroman3 -- MILES better. I had to take the last TWO back to the shop so I thought fack it, i'll try this one. And so far, it's awesome! (it actually works and has drivers and everything)

  • so is this better than the korg nanopad.

  • @PyroMan3 yes i traded my nanopad for one of these

  • @PyroMan3 yes :)

  • @PyroMan3 YES!

  • @PyroMan3 yes, i have the korg, and the pads got all fucked up and dont trigger right anymore, from regular use. this is better

  • one thing where does the sound come from. do u hook it up to speakers or headphones? sorry im a begginer

  • @samskate777 its connected to USB, all it is is a controller. the USB powers it and connects it to your computer/laptop and it comes through your speakers

  • @samskate777 the sounds come from the computer

  • Anyone have any complaints about this controller? Appreciate it very much...

  • @crackrocksteady again... soz.. as im an ammeture DJ i really want a midi controler to trigger samples and loops... will this do that....

  • @crackrocksteady89... Cheers bro.. im seriously considering buying this instead.. But as im an ameture

  • do it work 4 logic?

  • AKAI WORK WITH REASON!

  • HMMMM im not sure weather to get this mor the korg nano pad

  • @kirrehlover GET THIS! The nanopad was decent, i liked the x/y pad alot, but the pads were so cheap and flimsy that after a month of use, they began to stick, pop out, get stuck on hold, etc. I've had the lpd longer than i had my nanopad, and no problems. And if anyone on here has any questions still on how to set your midi/mpc up with a program pm me. By the way, USE ABLETON LIVE! Simply the best for sampling, making beats, etc.

  • I'm planning to get one...

but are the knobs replaceable? they are kinda short...

  • I'm trying to get mine to work with reason. You have to map each button manually since Reason doesn't recognise the device automatically. I'm trying to figure this out!

  • plugging it in to garage band was a breeze, it automatically did everything and choosing sounds was easy

so for mac users that helps

  • im a beginner to this technology and it seems impossible to to use

i cant figure out how to get the buttons to produce noises whatsoever

  • thats lame.I'm quite the same tho.I do have some budies who know this tho....Keep looking around youtube for how to guides on setting midi controls!what software are you using?

  • ive tried 2 different programs. the problem is there are no tutorials whatsoever that explain step by step how to program the thing. nothing even came with the unit itself and there is nothing online. pretty dissapointing for a company that wants to be the leader in the technology.

  • which 2 programs?I know it'll work for FL studio!

  • Thats puzzling it should work with any DAW,it doesn't have sounds itself, you either manipulate a sample in a program or to control a synth plugin etc.

  • thank you...I'm glad I'm not the only one who's having issues...I want to use this thing for samples or at least use it to create beats...but I have no clue what program to use aside from Beat Kangs....

  • diggin the backlit pads. was just at GC today and they just received a shipment of them. didnt even realized akai was coming out with something like this. ironically, i had just returned my nanopad when i saw them unboxing the lpd8 and lpd25.

  • Can I have a free one please Akai as my drum pads on my MPCJaackyabody where pooH.I wonder whats pooh about this new product init! Superportamento!
