This has always been one of my top 10 fave Beatle songs. Only 10 years ago, I found out that

this was written by Dave (oops!...Arthur) Alexander, who I never heard of (I'm American).

Even if he wrote nothing else, he is clearly an underrated songwriter. Classic song, I thought that Paul wrote it, that's a compliment. I will check Inter net 4 more info/songs by Mr. Alexander. Sorry for the sad heartbreak that some of you went through. Peace.
