@mikedc2020 Hi Mike, Actually it is a keyboard enclosure. In other words, it raps around the sides and the top of the keyboards without actually touching the keyboards. To answer your question, the craftman is Jim Conwell of Creative Woodwork in Biddeford, Maine and his telephone number is 207-284-3131.
@mikedc2020 Mike, the top of my enclosure is bookmatched veneer, which testifies to the quality of the workmanship. To see it go to my website, which is listed above, and click on my Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ link. At the top of that page, along with my tutorial, is a link to the pictures of my setup.
With this system I would never again have to worry about going anywhere as I could practice every day at home and practice far more often than I have ever been able to in the past.
I will aim for the Classic Midi works kit in time as it looks so great but for now I will start with something a bit more simple and cheaper. I love this system its so flexible so you can upgrade when you want and as funds allow. Keep up your playing you're a truly brilliant organist, far better than me!!
@Colin12120 Hi Colin, If you are interested, you might check out my Hauptwerk tutorial, "My Hauptwerk Experience," on my website. It is on my Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ page. It gives you step by step instructions on how to assemble one of these. And it will get a lot easier with Hauptwerk 4, which should be released some time in the near future.
Glad to hear you enjoy the kit. I had no idea this system existed until last week I must have been asleep for the past 5 years! I wish I had found it sooner. I am church organist who has gone a fair bit out of practice simply due to the practicalities of having to practice in a church. The thought of being able to practice at home on a "virtual" church organ (even different ones!) whenever you want with this quality of sound is just so amazing.
Brilliant performance. And it must be so great having such a awesome sound available at home. Wanted to just double check, - are you using Classic Midi Works hardware? (keyboards, pedalboard, swell shoes etc)
@Colin12120 Hi Colin, Thanks for your kind remarks. It is wonderful to be able to play (and record) at home, hearing these extraordinary sounds on a daily basis. Yes, I am using Classic Midi Works keyboards, pedalboard and swell shoes and enjoying them.
Merci pour cette très belle interprétation du Carillon. Le rendu des échantillons de Notre Dame de Metz sont troublants de ressemblance avec un Cavaillé-Coll authentique. Jouer celà at home tient du miracle.
do you have 32' contre bombarde?
