I ran across the owner of Street Sense, and his delightful family, after the heat forced us to leave the track after only Race Two.
The trainer's astrological transits that day were superb. I told them all to not worry if it was close at the wire.
Then it was I who did the sweating back at the hotel as I watched the last twenty seconds of the race!
Fortunately, it ended as I thought it would.
