@laddieboy52596 because they're active pickups. passive pickups don't need batteries. actives do. emg's take 1 battery betwen the 2 but can handle up to 27 volts

I had the fortune to see Shadows Fall last night, and they are really great and talented musicians, their sound in live is awesome, they really kick asses!!...so who fuck cares how he looks like, and you know what? Jon is really handsome in person besides being a tremendous guitarist.

I've played an older Rivera Knucklehead and tonal capabilities are endless. Can go from snappy cleans to crushing metal tones. Sounded better than the Krank Revolution.

i'de like one to, i imagine the wood would age nicely and produce better tone, but the draw-back is warpage.  Even the best violin's and celo's get strong finishes....please, anyone who complains about the finish is really getting ahead of themselves. Paco De Lucia never complained about finish.
