Freestyle is a word that's been thrown around so much it's hard to say what it really means anymore. Back in the day a freestyle would be completely right off the dome on the spot. Over time a lot of freestyles incorporated written lines (nobody in a freestyle battle actually 100% freestyles anymore). When you listen to Rap City or any time they're in a booth they almost always got their lines ready beforehand. Today freestyles usually just mean over another beat, straight forward with no cuts.

I found an old notebook of mine the other day that's full of verses, and on one of the pages I had started to write a complete breakdown of Failure. It must have been like 3-4 years old and I had only finished the first verse, but I already edging the fourth page. I remember spending like an entire week just finding more and more references, some serious lyricy on that track.

I actually refute that claim because every religion namely the three monotheistic faiths specifically warns it's followers about extremism. It's actually "lack of religion" which causes extremism. So in essence, it isn't religion which causes extremism but ignorance and lack or religion.

The very existence of religion gives extremists carte blanche to do whatever the fuck they want. That's actually very inaccurate for one to say, not to mention that this ideology is very popular during this 20th century. Religion, namely the three monotheistic faiths offer more than just stories to tell. It gives humanity or those influenced by it, good morals to live by and gives them a reasonable explanation for their purpose in life. One prime example I can give you is " western society" and how their obsession with materialism causes scores of physiological problems namely depression.

Honestly I was just being facetious and wasn't expected such a harsh response from anyone. Good for you on being in college and good luck on USC.. never been out there but I wish I coulda gone there. I just graduated in computer science from Ohio State, now working for the US Census helping develop their GIS. If I could do it all over again, I'd go into music production, but hopefully I can do it some day when I'm sick of computers.

Freestyle is a word that's been thrown around so much it's hard to say what it really means anymore. Back in the day a freestyle would be completely right off the dome on the spot. Over time a lot of freestyles incorporated written lines (nobody in a freestyle battle actually 100% freestyles anymore). When you listen to Rap City or any time they're in a booth they almost always got their lines ready beforehand. Today freestyles usually just mean over another beat, straight forward with no cuts.
