bob at shady grove on a nice night - it doesn't get much better or more austin, no. i've been a fan of his since i stumbled into a little bar on 6th street called 'the black cat' (since burned down) back in 1992. he was playing with a rock/rap band called Joe Rockhead. later watched him get funky with the Ugly Americans and the Scabs, then mellow out with LonelyLand. no matter what kinda music bob is into, he always sounds great.

i discovered bob about 8 years ago..i was listening to an indie college station here in ohio, and they played big blue sea...i was immediately sold and remain so.....bob rocks!
