I'm not getting involved in any Punk vs Emo arguments here, but back in the 90's Goldfinger were a part of the Southern Californian Punk movement, and were declared So-Cal Punk. So 'technically' they're punk, but with a lot of Ska influences. Hope that's useful to someone! =D
