  • Glad to see that you guys are humans.

  • now, tell me, were you looking at the pretty colours at the top?

  • bass volume is just perfect! (haters gonna hate)

  • Bass pretty loud but lead overpowers it on solos

  • @DTPVH they both use the same minor rythm scale

  • I like how this video makes it so you can hear all the instruments a lot better

  • wtf

  • turn up the guitar

  • I think I deserve a medal for single-handedly tripling the amount of comments on this video. A new L.A. Noire video would work too though. ;)

  • You assholes are still arguing over megadeth and metallica, they both got over it, you people need to to......

  • RIP Bassist

  • It doesn't matter the Bass is sick in Holy Wars.

  • Bass FTW!

  • Epic!!!!!!! ;3

  • 1v1 me a bass battle of this. However, I will not make the mistake of calling you a noob. I am a humble player. :D

  • Bass FTW =D

  • this looks way easier than the wii for some reason

  • the bassist should take hs4, he would have better run

  • 3:58

    look at the bass chart

    Notes changing color ftw?

  • @tonotreta1 actually, it's the whole run on the bass! wtf?!??!

  • @tonotreta1 It's called the Color shuffle -extra ;)

  • Bass so sexy

  • the bass sounds awesome

  • M for president!

  • the drummer is a beast!!!!!!

  • hey guitarist sucks ass, i bet he couldn't even 5 star play with me or 4 star thorugh the fire and flames on guitar hero smash hits ( the harder version of through the fire and flames). btw if your wondering i've fc'd play with me and i've gotten 97% on through the fire and flames, if you want i'll give you my gamertag in a pm so you can check out my scores, and also i'll even face you if you want :)

  • Metallica sucks.

    Megadeth rules.

  • @MrHatsworth Pathetic fanboy...

  • @MrHatsworth They are both good, shut the fuck up.

  • @MrHatsworth both bands kick ass. shut your mouth and listen to the music.

  • Megadeth are so epic, if you do this on story mode, you will implode :)

  • i would love to see someone get twin strings on this song with both on expert lol if someone can do it POST IT

  • The difficulty chart in-game says that this song is easier on Guitar than it is Bass.... I disagree

  • the bassists fret colors change, like the green is sometimes blue

  • @a7xisbetrthanu cause of color shuffle

  • seriously??????????????????????? or not?!?!?

  • Bass, to LOUD. Guitar, to low

  • @giorgosmina1 you do ralize its like tht in te actual song

  • @giorgosmina1 it can be because the bass is the main instrument for the guy who record it. is my guess

  • @giorgosmina1 no the music is like this the bass is loud

  • @giorgosmina1 I actually like the Bass sound... It makes the song whole.

  • @giorgosmina1 Its because the guy who posted this up was playing bass, n whatever you are playing is louder on your t.v

  • @giorgosmina1 thats the way it should be buddy...

  • @giorgosmina1 thats good because ellefson did a cool job

  • @giorgosmina1 is because who posted the video is playing the bass, but the sound is strange indeed agree with you.!

  • @giorgosmina1 Bass is lous because Elfson is host. Host is always loudest on his/her console and his/her highway/s is/are situated to the most left

  • @giorgosmina1 its like the intro to higher ground

  • The Guitarist choked badly. He coulda FCed that

  • is the guitarist on hyperspeed

  • @carbonfreak78 I dunno but I always play guitar with hyperspeed 5 on

  • the bass is not tuned

  • bass is screwed

  • lol the bass

  • the bass scares me

  • @Tuttles1029 don't be afraid. Just listen to the music and don't mess rythm.

  • does anyone else realise this song has almost the same main riff as ride the lightning by metallica?

  • @DTPVH Do you know, that Ride The Lighning was Wrote by Dave Mustaine? xD

  • @Jesusvanegas94 thats what i'm saying. it's like he recycled the riff

  • @DTPVH Yeah but made it faster and more kickass!!!!!!!!!

  • @DTPVH yeahh it certanly is, but Holy wars came in the early 90's, ride the lightning came in early 80's.

  • @DTPVH Dave wrote the riff for that song while he was in metallica. That riff belongs to Dave Mustaine and Dave Mustaine only.Fuck Metallica

  • @AGENT2seven who says dave wrote the riff? he wrote part of the song but which part is never specified. he could have helped write the lyrics and had nothing to do with the riff. he could have written the bassline for all we know. mustaine, ulrich, burton and hetfield are all credited as cowriters.

  • @DTPVH Dave writing Baselines or lyrics? What are you a dumbass?

  • @AGENT2seven Im not saying he did. I'm saying that as far as we know he could have. He might just have credit for a solo. But he has written lyrics and basslines before.

  • @AGENT2seven okay i have facts. dave wrote a riff in ride the lightning but that riff was not the main riff. it was the pre-solo riff. the main riff was james.

  • @DTPVH what? i dont see anyway how this is similar to Ride the lightning :S they dont even play in anyway the same on guitar

  • @redwing104 i'm not talking about gh/rb charts i'm talking about a REAL guitar. the reason they charts aren't similar is because harmonix can't chart worth crap.

  • @DTPVH i know you are talking about real guitar, i still do not see how they play anyway the same, what part of this sounds like what part from RTL? :3

  • @redwing104 if i must explain in detail then i shall. both riffs consist of a base picked note (both the open low E) that is repeatedly [speed]picked followed by a note on the 5th fret of either the low E string (for RTL) of the A string (for HW) and then hammered onto the 7th fret of the respective strings. this is then followed by the picking of more low E notes and then a note higher than 7th (i believe 10th for both) that is pulled off to the 7th. the pattern then repeats. okay, it all fit.

  • @DTPVH the main riff of ride the lightning is a relatively medium paced chugging of the E string with a power chord slide from 5th to 6th, not 7th, followed by more e string , which is played 4 times before power chords on the 10th and 9th are played, and it is then repeated.

  • @DTPVH the riff for holy wars is a hammer on from 5th to 7th on the a string followed by e string chugging followed by a pull off from 10th to7th on the a string which is then followed by 2 more a string hammer ons from 5th to 7th followed by a power chord slide from 5th to 6th (which is the only part that seem similar to RTL imo) this is then repeated but every time the slide from 5th to 6th changes, first to a power chord on the 7th fret of the a string to power chord on 6th e string

  • @DTPVH wtf?

  • @MvsTain3 learn guitar. they're very similar.

  • @DTPVH haha whatever... mustaine wrote the riff of ride the lightning... so?

  • @MvsTain3 nope, hetfield. dave wrote the pre-solo riff.

  • @DTPVH yeah man

  • @DTPVH Dave wrote it.

  • @DTPVH actualy both songs where composed by the same person dave mustaine the heart of megadeth

  • @DTPVH Yeah cause he uses the same Spider chord idea for Holy wars just like when he was in metallica.

  • @woopa2121 and the slides in the main riff, its just like a sped up version of rtl

  • @woopa2121 He created that lol

  • @woopa2121 He used the part he wrote for RtL in a song, Wake Up Dead.

  • @DTPVH dave mustaine wrote ride the lightning by metallica...

  • @Hyllispay he wrote the bridge

  • @DTPVH does anyone else realize dave mustaine used to be a guitarist for metallica? and he wrote that riff for ride the lightning, and used it in holy wars the punishment due?

  • @BowlerBoy768 Did you even read the replies? Dave didn't write the riff that I'm comparing. He once said in an interview that the riff he wrote was the pre-solo riff, not the main one.

  • @BowlerBoy768 He did not write the riff for Ride The Lightening you fucktard. He got kicked out before Kill 'Em All even got released, he only wrote Four Horseman and another song from Kill 'Em All. Get your facts straight.

  • @BowlerBoy768 He wrote a tiny part of the pre riff, and it wasn't even used.

  • @DTPVH dave were a bit angry at metallica the words in the intro in megadeths Go to Hell are the same as in the breakdown in Enter Sandman

  • @TOJxKiLLSTeaLeR The breakdown lyrics in Sandman aren't original. They come from an old prayer taught to children.

  • @DTPVH ahh I see

  • @DTPVH not that strange since Dave Mustaine (Megadeth frontman) wrote it

  • @RockyRock1994 I have said a million times that he didn't write that part.

  • @DTPVH well he did write some part in ride the lightning

  • @DTPVH and it isn't really exactly the same it's just kinda the same style :P

  • @DTPVH Because Dave Mustaine (Lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Megadeth) wrote most of kill them all and ride the lightning before they kicked him out of the band.

  • @wheneverythingtylers CO-writing 5 songs out of 18 is really writing most it isn't it?

  • @DTPVH do you realise this was out before ride the lightning?

  • @TheNathanBoy10 no it wasn't. ride the lightning came out in 1984 rust in peace which contained holy wars came out in 1990

  • You should do a RB/GH comparison of this song :D

  • KTTIES

  • MERCY KILLINGS! KILLINGS!

  • ah could have fcd it =(

  • KILLINGS!

  • yay for colour swap :)
