  • Lay off the weed !

  • I just listened to the actual song--they only bend that first note twice, and the following notes are just wrong.

  • this is definitely not how you play the song

  • expert village is shit. this DEFINITELY NOT how u play the song. every tutorial they got is jus misguiding. ur not suppose to teach what "kind of" sounds like the song. BS! that just made me mad. Punk ass expertvillage

  • dude if ur going to teach it at least teach it correctly!

  • thats it.....WTF

  • "All right, we're gonna, the first part..." how the hell do you get that to a sentence

  • How do I get rid of the subtitles?

  • i love xpert village =) they helped me with my halloween party last year! =)

  • Anyone? I have a baritone uke and it is DGBE, but obviously it has a shorter neck, any idea on how it would translate?

  • IMO the Yardbirds, and later Aerosmith, fucked the song all up. They were trying to do The Rock and Roll Trio's version but could handle it. The R&R Trio seriously rocked up Tiny Bradshaw's original and gave it attitude.

  • g-string :)

  • WRONG! I wrote this song :)

  • what the hell i cant even see the video because of the retarded subtitles

  • hes got the tab and cover all wrong for the intro , watch aerosmiths version of this live from 1974 , thats how it was done

  • The yardbirds version is 100000000000000 times better

  • its wrong!!

  • yaaah

  • the point is that aerosmith made this song good

  • You're both wrong it was originally an R&B tune written and recorded by Tiny Bradshaw in 1951.

  • WRONG it was made by Johnny Burnette. It was then covered by various bands such as The Yardbirds. Then Aerosmith covered The Yardbirds' version of the song. Look it up. I wouldn't have been an ass if you weren't, and were wrong.

  • @jakdethe it went johnny, yardbirds, led zeppelin, aerosmith,....

  • @SharingonMadara Led Zeppelin never actually recorded, but just played it because Jimmy Page did it while he was in the Yardbirds.

  • @jakdethe o really?

  • Your a huge idiot. The song was written a LONG ass time before Aerosmith. It was covered by Yardbirds before, then Aerosmith covered the Yardbirds version of the song. EVERYONE and their grandma did a version of it in the 70's live, even Zeppelin. Aerosmith just got around to recording it, mainly cause its one of Perry's favorite songs. Check your facts, dumbass.

  • this song was made wayyyyy before 73 dude

  • no they didnt u fuckin idiot

  • I know this song from motörhead

    its a great song! :-)

  • too bad aerosmith's real cover of this song is no where to be found (at least by me). I could only find a live performance version on iTunes

  • everybody thinks the songs by aerosmith its by the yardbirds

  • i thought it was the yardbyrds?

  • alot of bands have covered this song man

  • Yah original was theirs, But Aerosmith is the best cover

  • wrong the original is by aerosmith

  • -_- Aerosmith isnt the original, they made the most awesome cover, and made it longer, Yardbyrds was original, and made it before Aerosmith got toguether

  • sum1 before them as well

  • sorry man , im a huge aerosmith fan , but yardbirbs done it first

  • yardbirds

  • yep spellling mistake , thanks for pointing it out ..?

  • that version sucks

  • areosmith did a cover

  • it is

  • Nunca e visto a este tipo en uno de sus videos con las 5 estrellas.

Aunque sea del concervatoriode rock and roll no enseña muy bien

  • yhea its standard tuning

  • is the tuning E A D G B e?

  • your videos are good but it is so annoying that they last only a minute or so make some full length videos on how to play songs instead of the intros

  • seriously dude, change your damn clothes. you wear the same clothes every video. do you have more than one outfit?

  • Seriously. It...it's almost like he managed to do more than one video that lasts less than ten minutes in a day. Either a bum or a god.

  • are u dum? he made ALL of his videos to expert village in 3 or 4 days, look at the dates

  • no im not dumb its you because you just agreed with me, he made all the videos in 3-4 days, and not one of his videos includes him in a different outfit, so stfu

  • hahaha u got issues xbox4513

  • Fuck you and actually read the whole conversation, i'd kick your ass

  • sure id like u to see if u had the guts to

  • watch your back batto

  • batto?? lol wow

  • dude, i recommend using a heavy pick like a tortex pick

    ///sorry for wrong spelling///

  • haha paus 0:10

  • ahahahahahahaha

  • "The Train Kept a-Rollin'" was originally done by Tiny Bradshaw.

  • its not buy aerosmith damn it its buy the yard birds

  • yeah I heard The old version was too gritty.

  • cuz this is this version aerosmith covered thats in Rock Band look at the title ._.

  • you know what also is wrong in this version is they say its by aerosmth it asnt there song the yardbirds did it too but it wasnt even their song the songs by one of the earliest blues musicians!

  • it sounds like it a lil bit but the lesson sucks

  • This is bad dude... It doesn't sound like Train Kept A Rolling at all... And you were just playing like 5 different notes on the whole lesson..

  • longest freaking title ever

  • lol

  • let me guess...Ur the comicbook guy from the simpsons!?

  • I'm not quite sure... I think I'll just keep doing it this way until I find what's true.

  • Do the WHOLE song, Now That'd be helpful .. xd

  • Man, the game is WAY off from the real thing.

  • this guy rocks. i learned like 8 songs thanx 2 him

  • this guy is my lesson hero!!!

  • This guy also teaches you how to play the opening to "Thunderstruck" :)

  • solo please haha :P

  • good for a beginner like me and im not so good on bar frets so i find it easyer to make the bar with my pinky ring and middle on each individual string ... and great sounding tutorial

  • Nope, crap. Well I dunno, But I seen Perry do it the way I explained it, but after a little more research, I think yer right.

  • WRONG! He performs the pull off near the bottom of the neck. I think it's: G-3p2p0 D-2.

By the way, if you listen to the song, then you should hear him slide up the string. (And I doubt he could make it last as long as he does if he played it the way you do.)

  • GrannyWhackers is right and this dude is way off. Guitar World published a transcription in their November issue that has completely different notes than what this dude is teaching. (Opening is X-X-X-14-12-12 with the 14 being bent a full step, then 5-3-0 pulloff on the B string [hammer on 2 on the D at the end])

  • yeah i have the same copy and guitar world is pretty well known for accuracy. It has a similar effect but it doesn't really sound like a train which is what it is suppose to do.

  • what kind of amp does he use?

  • the one that shout sounds!

  • i like how u laughed

  • Is this the same as the Yardbirds verson?

  • Cool lesson, thanks!
