@byWassy You need to downgrade your drivers. Search 'HDPVR sony vegas drivers' into Google and you'll find what you're looking for as one of the first answers.

@byWassy What do you mean it does not work? I use to have a problem where I recorded, and open the video in Sony Vegas, and all I got was the audio, and no video. All I had to do was convert the file to a different file type that sony vegas supports. I hope something I said could have helped you, but please give more info on what you mean.

Every option of quality of YouTube has a perfect bitrate:

For 360p, is 5.000.000 bps

For 480p, is 8.000.000 bps

For 720p. is 12.000.000 bps

For 1080p, is 16.0000.000 bps

And for Original (2048x1152), is 20.000.000 bps

@Gugaaax the reset to none sharpen effect, even though there is no value it still adds a slight sharpen, too much sharpen will ruin the look of the video

@GamePlayUK dude, the reset to none sharpen effect is a preview error, try this: render a normal video, and then add the reset to none (and leave it to 0.000) and re-render it... you'll se that nothing has changed... i use to add at least 0.100 :D

@xTrickyyGFX to fix the "screen lag" when spining... ext... go to the video tract, right click... go to properties... the go to disable resaple... excuse the spelling errors, i could care less... hope i helped...

but yeah, my pc has 4 processors with 2.30GhZ, 3GB ram, it's possible to edit with but it's laggy, you first have to render your edit, after that add CC on it when rendering again etc...so it's pretty hard, also twixtor needs to be rendered seperate from the entire project :/ because otherwise it would crash..

@TheSmrtMouth Well the closest thing i got to 10 minutes is 10:57mins, however, that file size was 1.07gb. So i'm guessing a 10minute video file size would be around 900mb. :)

The software is also great to use if you're a total newbie. (like me, i have videos on my channel IF you wanna see how good they look D: ) Hope this helps :)

@sosodjnoob That used to happen to me and believe it or not it's as simple as this: Turn on the PVR and recording software BEFORE you even turn on the console. I don't know why it lags when you don't do that, but I hoped that this helped.

@I3enjie your xbox display settings is set on 1080i not 720p.. it doesnt matter ur quality will be the same if not a little better but the file size will be larger.. u can change to 720p tho if u want

@iCrippee You probably have to change the settings in your actual xbox. You have a switch on your component cables that says "HD" and "standard". (something like that). Then on your xbox go to System settings,Console Settings, Display, HDTV settings. Then choose your Definition. 720, 1080i, 1080p. With the the pvr its best to record in 720.
