@Le5Pau1 Actually there's not a clear answer on that...Generally you wear headphones so you can hear the rest of the musicians better through them (in case you haven't been in a small rehearsal room, drums are LOUD :P)

Sometimes you wear headphones without anything playing back through them, just to dampen the natural sound of the kit because eventually you'll go deaf if you keep on hammering without protection for your ears.

These 2 reasons come on top of my head right now... Cheers

I was supposed to play WITH Metallica and Lars is part of the band so although it would have been pretty cool to be the only drummer for this, it was sick to be playing along side Lars Ulrich himself, the guy that got me interested in playing in the first place! @InfernumThe Hi, I would definitely say it's one of their best songs but that is all personal preference. Orion is another one of my favorites and I know it on drums just the same as Puppets. I chose Puppets because it's a classic Metallica tune that I know inside and out and it's a long song with changes. I wanted to be able to play with them every last second that I could! There are tons of songs I could have chosen but I felt this was the best bet overall.
