@iERAuk unfortunately when it comes to being able to sit down and talk i don't live in the uk. But i will subscribe. I just think that the way you engage with people on the streets from what i have seen is and the manner in which you do it is really great. Im not saying i agree with every thing that you say but i do agree with a lot of it.
If you have time, what about having a chat over skype?
In the meantime did you checkout the link that were shown in the video to Another View, the Man in the Red Underpants and the Quran Selections bookelet?
I think you should give dawah to the muslims, not BBC staff. BBC reported what they found out on those schools . So if you did not like what they reported you should give dawah to the muslims so they can learn to live in 21st century in a world that have people with different faiths.
@moshigirl1 we do give Dawah to Muslims as well as non Muslims :) Thank you for your concern, if only you could be so concerned about the state of Muslims in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine where Muslims are tortured, killed, abused, humiliated for no reason apart from...being Muslim.
Dont judge Islaam on the people, judge it on its source; the Quraan & the Sunnah (hadiths). Sharia law is Allaah's law, not man-made law. that's how we as Muslims know its best & it works.
I must say, i was very impressed by the recent iERA event. Their work is very inspirational. This video is a good demonstration on 'how to give dawah'. Thumbs up from me :-)
Mashallah iERA is one of the best da'wah organizations in the world, if not the number one best. For starters, you hear about them all the time in the news. More over, the material they produce (research, debates, talks, literature) is highly professional and effective. On top of that they are constantly putting forth wise decisions on how to engage the public. May Allah multiply their gains and the number of people like them
If you want to donate some charity or do da'wah, give to iERA.
Yea go hamza

Let's be clear about how we learn what true islam means:
When we hear bombs, we hear islam.
When we see women dressed in black sacks, we see islam.
When we learn of amputations and stonings, we learn about islam.
When we read about sexism and homophobia, we read about islam.
When we face animality, anger and greed for power, we face islam.
When we smell death, we smell Islam.
When we hear muslims say peace, we know they mean war.
Islam is just one big F-ALLAH-CY!
