A waste of good film... where the hell is your respect for the written word? Sounds like he paid his dues... Whether or not he is blind or not... matters the least. I spent my entire life around this area and at times took chances... chances I chose to take... sure as hell doesn't make me blind.

Don't dick around near bears. Anytime you hike towards a grizzley bear on purpose, you run the chance of an "interaction". If the bear eats you, you deserved it and the bear deserves the meal. I'm glad this guy survived but feel bad for the bear's meal getting away.

You are supposed to stay 100 yards away from bears, by law, and for good reason. Mr. Cole had been warned on previous occasions. Even though I am not a pro photographer, even my equipment can get the shots.
