Question: Why do organizations pay fighters to fight for them who have 6-20 records? I've seen a few of these guys in organizations with just terrible terrible records. What's the interest in these types?
While he did loose his 6 previous fights - he didn't fight chumps…. Urijah Faber twice, Leonard Garcia, Josh Grispi, Javier Vazquez.. Jen's record right now is 23w, 14L, 1D. While I don't expect him back in the UFC, he can still fight and win.
While Jens' opponent is certainly a game fighter, he is just 6-19, and Jens' win is nothing to celebrate. As a huge Jens fan, I hope he retires, forges ahead with his gym, and makes a living. This is not the way to continue for a man who was the UFC champion.
@pitbull103 I agree, and some of these people on here think he on a comeback because he won this fight against a no name. He should stay retired, he doesnt have nothing to prove anymore.
This was more a win for him mentally. Just to get that W again is super improtant for a competitor like him. Yes, his opponenet was not world class by any means, but Jens knew that going in. I mean look at the venue he is fighting in. Congrats to him and his new team. Hopefully he can get a nice win streak going.
It was hardy a fight for the ages, however the reaction when Lindqist tapped was awesome! Just what Jens needed, no matter how small. Congrats Jens! #myhero
Stop giving him shit , he's just trying to provide for his family. and how many wins do any of you guys have in your mma careers? how many world titles have you won? that's right none you all are just keyboard bitches so stfu

Small shows give you the chance to see rising and falling stars. I saw Jon Jones, Josh Grisipi both at small shows in MA.
