  • Regina, awsome!! Do you have a sample of the finished powder room, how the template was laid and finished.

  • the mame of the paper gold is? end the glace dark thename is?

  • This was an excellent video but it kept stopping every two seconds and was very frustrating. Does that happen because too many people are on line? I tried everything to get it to work better.

  • Hi This was a good demo;

    You mention that you use raw siena and burnt umber for your aging. Could you give us the amounts along with the base material that you use?

  • I loved it !!

    I am planning to use the same color for my formal dining ( Traditional )what you say ?? Instead of Gold leaf can I use Gold Paint ?? Please let me know what you think ... Thanks in Advance..

  • I did it! Thanks for posting this video, I made my first project and I love it!

  • Sandra - Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • This is a WONDERFUL helpful video - I'm off to check out your web site - many thanks.

  • Oops. Forgot to give info on the glaze! We usually make our own with burnt and raw umber tints but there is a glaze on the market that is pretty darn close: Asphaltum Aging glaze by McCloskey. Make sure you add regular glaze to it to increase the working time. In addition to the video, the instructions posted on our website blog may help more since it gives a few additional tips. Wish they allowed links here: the blog is in the Garay Artisans dot com site, search using "glazed and gold".

  • Thank you for the compliments! I'm excited you're trying the finish - keep me posted! Here's the info: Base - Sherwin-Williams 6327, Glue/Leaf - Wunda Size & gold Schaibin. On our website (Garay Artisans dot com), we have a blog that I frequently post to writing information about all things faux & design. I wrote out the full finish instructions on a December post. Please do a search on the blog itself for "glazed and gold" and it should come up (sorry: I couldn't get links to post here).

  • Hey Regina, I just loved your work! Congratulation!!! Can you write me the name of the material that you used in this sample??!!I want to do in my Powder bath and I want to make sure that I buy the same material. I need the base name, the glue and the glaze..pleaseee and thanks

  • j'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites.
