Its all about mass+static friction(stiction). Since the centre of gravity is the point where all the weight is located, the point where the spoons are attached to glass is their centre of gravity. Pardon my English. I liked her tits more than her lecture lol.

I used the term weight because it is a force (mass x acceleration due to gravity), and in systems like this we discuss how the forces balance to achieve equilibrium.
