@fighisver No, this song is called Greenest Eyes. The Propagandi song you're referring to is called Showdown (G.E./P.), and the last bit stands for Greenest Eyes/Political, as it's literally a "showdown" between John and Chris' opposite lyrical styles. Get it?
@bedforthescraping - Nah, the P stands for Preamble, as shown on their official lyrics page.
That aside, I had no idea this existed and only just stumbled across it when watching Propagandhi videos. It can't beat Showdown - which I love, incidentally - but it's a cool find nonetheless.
This came out on Propaghandi's early demo - Martial Law with a Cherry on Top. On How to Clean Everything, Chris cut the second verse and replaced it with a new one that he sang, to presumably make it more punk
First off, this is EPIC. It's what seems to be the John K Samson half of the org. song featured on "How to Clean Everything." That said, it's pretty good and it's interesting to see the fusing of Samson's style and Chris' style. I think they are both great versions. What 7" is this from? Who put this out?
@Ryguy1450 It's from his solo album that he wrote right after he left Propagandhi, but pre-Weakerthans, titled "Slips and Tangles". It was only available in cassette tape format, but a few songs were re-recorded (not this one) for his "Little Pictures" solo EP. Both are readily available online if you know where to look haha.
@patdenton actually I think he wrote it before he left Propagandhi, in fact I think it came out before Propagandhi's "How To Clean Everything" as I think it was recorded in late 92/early 93, and released soon after in 1993 but I could be wrong on the exacts there. But yeah, thanks for putting it up, I haven't heard this in forever.
Wow I had no idea this existed! Thanks for posting!

This is from Slips and Tangles cassette that actually came out in 1993. John K Samson left Propagandhi after recording Less Talk, More Rock in 1996.
