  • Simple. Audi was at fault.

TNZ is clearly on Starboard tack, Audi is on port and has to keep clear, they had plenty time to adjust their course way earlier.

  • TNZ is completely not at fault, Audi as farr40trimmer said had plenty of room to duck, was on port tack and saw TNZ coming for ages. Tried to be a smart-ass, broke his bow sprit. Whilst one hopes accidents don't happen, at least TNZ's race doesn't look completely ruined which would have been very unfair considering they are in the right.

  • @FullLaidBack.... Black Boat team Team New Zealand is in no way at fault. Audi A4 had plenty of room to duck, just had a crew error and it had nothing to do with ETNZ.

  • No brain, only money intheir heads.

Nichts in Kopf, nur Geld und Scheisse.

Na cabeça, só merda e dinheiro.

  • starboard tack has the righta way

  • @FullyLaidBack The White boat on (don' t know the team names) starboard boat does have right of way, however the back boat locks the red boat, so that she has to try and fall under, with too little space. In a protest situation the Balck boat chasing the red boat would be DSQ, red and white would be the ones who would not be able to compete any further that day.

  • Kleine Nachhilfe gefällig?

    Backbord-Wind weicht Steuerbord-Wind.

  • @Jaegerpark: Nicht? Wie lautet sie denn?
