  • these guys are wicked creative

  • this video is going to cause an epileptic fit. awesome song though

  • AAAAWWWEEESSSSOOOOOMMMMEEEEE!!!!!!!

  • What a mean track, these guys are brilliant! All the instrumental stuff is wicked too. Two Times with John Garcia is F***IN sweet too :D

  • This song... The beggining just gets You to the bone and pumps Your soul with adrenaline. HELL YEAH!!!

  • sunday here i come! alive and kickin'!

2nd time to watch them live. first time they blew my mind.

  • wow I'm so impressed....... gods!!!!!!!

  • So underrated band! And I need more beer now! More, and more, till I explode! GIVE ME MORE BEER!

  • Sounds like a mixture between Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and some AC/DC

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie or just Karma to burn ! hehe

  • have to say great song great vocals = BAD ASS SONG

  • I'm not against vocals but I thought this song sucked when I first listened to it... but now... Ohhh Man... I'ts effin GREAT... Has that power and groove and the vocals fit so well

    This album is superb stuff...

  • @riggs100

    Check out Sagh

  • Sooo underrated!! I personaly think they are the next Black Sabbath!

  • The group's first studio CD in eight years was produced by ex-KYUSS bassist Scott Reeder and contains eight instrumentals chronologically titled from "41" to "48", along with the track "Waiting For The Western World", which features YEAR LONG DISASTER frontman Daniel Davis on vocals. Legendary KYUSS singer John Garcia performs on "Two Times", which is exclusive to the bonus disc included with the first 2,000 copies of "Appalachian Incantation"

  • Best track they've ever made.

  • Totally nice track

  • great track very early 90's vibe to it :)

  • that's daniel davies singing,not john garcia.

  • the entire first album had vocals...male and female both.

  • Vocals or not! It just sounds great, as Vampreacher said: It is an instrument and speaks out what the others wanna say with their ones! I'm crazy to hear it live in Siegen - Germany!

  • They have a solid Ac/Dc/Kyuss sound!!!

  • @jimmo8 ac/dc is gay

  • @realCarmack LOL!!!!

  • @realCarmack and you are a nobody.

  • @jimmo8 I agree with Kyuss, but I don't hear the AC/DC.

  • @00Mayes You're right! It' more like Kyuss/Soundgarden. Vocals are pretty good here. I think I said AC/DC because of the simplistic (but hard) drumming!

  • @00Mayes I'd hope you'd hear the kyuss influence considering The singer is in this song....

  • @ToastmanX2 No he's not. It doesn't sound like him at all, if anything it sounds like Perry Farrell.

  • may the karma burneth long and rock! love since '96

  • Anyone that likes this should definitely hear So Come On by The Atomic Bitchwax

    Hail Stoner Rock!

  • what band is this singer from?

  • @nonicknamekid2010 year-long disaster

  • @nonicknamekid2010 Year Long Disaster, Rich's other Band. They have two albums out; Self titled (2007) and "Black Magic..." which came out in March this year. Check those albums out if this footage entices you.

This November will mark the fifth year of YLD.as a band. Daniel is one of guitarist Dave Davies of the Kinks sons, -second youngest-

  • this shit rocks.

  • It's always gonna be hard going from vocals to no vocals and back again! I think he's done an awesome job.

  • its, remains me Paranoid of Black Sabbath))

  • I bought one of the 2000 the other day and it's really worth it!

    Go get your copy!

  • really lame theres vocals now,i know their 1st LP had vocals but like it better instrumental

  • im really bumed there vocals now, so much better instrumental,i know their 1st Lp had some vocals.

  • im really bumed there vocals now, so much better instrumental,i know their 1st Lp had some vocals.

  • LOL, I liked them instrumental. It's ok...the guy on the screen looks just like Noddy!

  • Lyrics: not sure if correct, but what I've got The ancient fellows appease them all I'm not satisfied give what I've got Ghost of Elijah, transient scene Won't you remember me, with that heart of thee? Chorus Visions of the future, trapped in a distant scream Road down this Babylon, waiting on the western world I shall not give back the sun to the sky It happens to the young now, the tide will now rise Vainness exceeds me, this power that is mine A wave of devotion, I'm now in my prime

  • @Vampr3ach3r Won't you remember me, with that heart of thee?

is wont you remember me the way i outta be

  • these guys are incredible live - with daniel davies they are even more incredible. as vampr3ach3r mentioned, the vocals just add another layer of sound to the music and daniel davies is an impressive musician/singer. THEY ROCK!

  • they still know how to rock! not that i've ever doubted it... ;)

  • I don't really understand this mentality of "OMG THIS SONG HAS A VOCAL TRACK!!!! HATE HATE HATE!!!" In this song the voice is just another instrument. I count this as just as much an instrumental song as the rest of the songs on the album. The only time voice isn't an instrument is when it has an over arching message and quite frankly I don't hear much of one in this song. This song has artistic lyrics and the voice should be held in the same regard as the guitar, bass, and drums

  • @Vampr3ach3r i completely agree!

  • @Vampr3ach3r. True. Still Karma to burn is still at there best without vocals. At least this is my opinion. Keep in mind, Roadrunner kicked them out on account of them not getting a vocalist. Witch is lame. In my opinion the songs without vocals should remain that way. They shouldn´t be messed with.

(my spelling might be of due to english not being my native language hehe..)

  • @elowstedt1... Allthough this song is definetly kickass

  • @Vampr3ach3r nah, it's not hate, it's just foreign to some folks to hear them with a vocalist.

  • @Vampr3ach3r Seriously man, and this guy isn't a bad singer either.

  • my song of the year 2010

  • @Vampr3ach3r i have no problem with the vocal in this song but i wouldnt say having a message means the voice is no longer an instrument lyrics is writing and singing makes it musical i have no problem with a songwriter having a message in there lyrics

  • Thumb down

  • Down go stoners.

  • I'm a huge garcia fan but of the two vocal tracks on the album, i prefer this. pure sonic fury. to any other song, this video woulda been seizure inducing, but goes great here. especially the end

  • @sumpurnis : it's onlyn one song on their new album, otherwise the band remains instrumental.

  • While you were only instrumental, that was way better than this form. Now You've become from unique to average/random band ... :S

  • @sumpurnis

    hush, puppy :)

Is there such a thing as a random/awerage band?

  • awsome song. the vocals ar ok, but i'd perfer an istrumental

  • Awsome.

  • nice music, wierd video :?

    \M/ rock on

  • Awesome! Was just listening to Twenty Nine :)

  • Good stoner metal
