Where's Danny living now? I remember going to see his R.E.M. (Regurgitated Eighties Music) act at the Circus Room in Kitchener almost 15 years ago. Always a fine entertainer.
I was on a long 6 hour haul from Ottawa to Stratford, and this song came on the radio...I immediately jotted it down and came looking for you....Found my true love in StKitts too....love it dude.
Very tasteful PMs you've been sending. You REALLY should be a politician... Put your foot in your mouth in public, then talk sh*t about people in private. It's just a song, dude, no need to get emotional.
I'm sure there are many people who would disagree with you. ;)
But I'm not arguing your taste in music, you originally criticized him for not knowing how to play the guitar. Good job at changing the subject, though. You should be a politician. ;)
But that's where you're missing the point... this IS an accomplished song. Just because it's simple doesn't mean it isn't music. You saying the Beatles aren't good because they're simple? Most of their hits are no more than 3 chords.
How do you figure? You don't have to play like Zakk Wilde to be a guitarist. Not only that... but there are two guitar solos in this song.
Furthermore, just because you can play a guitar doesn't make you a musician, either. This guy is more a musician than 98% of all guitar players I know who can shred up a storm.
He performed at a Vinyle cafe tour in Sudbury, Ont. he played the two songs, Tennessee Tobacco and Feather, Fur and Fin. These were two of the best songs I have ever seen performed. His style is very unique. I would love to see him at any concert
The last sentence is suppose to be, "and i still love it right down to the core" you can tell he messed up! Anywho, amazing song.
